S AR AS OTA COU N T Y PARKS, REC R EATIO N AND NATUR AL R ESO UR C ES
In 2008, The Legacy Trail opened, providing more than 10 miles of multi-use trail from Venice Train Depot to Culverhouse Nature Park. Today, the trail is being extended to create nearly 30 miles of continuous trail, enhancing the connectivity from North Port through Venice to downtown Sarasota. Sarasota County is currently seeking donors who wish to contribute to the trail as we race to its completion. Various donor opportunities are available in support of the project. With these donations, the community will have supported over $1,000,000 towards The Legacy Trail. C AP ITA L C AMPAIG N D ON OR OPPO R TUNITIES LO C AT IO N
