ARCHEOLOGY OF SECTION This project consisted in creating a composition from predetermined forms that were given to each one of us. This forms were extracted from five different section that were assigned. In the case of this project the sections used come from the following buildings. Santa Maria delle Carceri, project for Laperouse Mausoleum, Sao Paulo Museum of Art, Park Tower, and Skull from Leonardo Da Vinci. We got familiarized with the section by drawing them and then cutting them down, trying to understand the elements used and later on using certain elements in our advantage to create our own composition.

PRESEDENT STUDY AND REVIT AND VRAY PRACTICE This was mainly an exploration of my own abilities to improve in Revit and the use of VRay thru 3ds Max. I house represented is an already existing project. The whole process of recreating the building in Revit started from a set of pictures if the house and some basic floor plans to help with the dimensions. This project was guided by Juan David Velasquez in Colombia, as he es very knowledgeable in both programs.

FIBONACCI GRID This project consisted on creating a building off of the Fibonacci grid which come with a preset series of numbers. 1, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 68. To which we started with the base 13, 21, and 68, and later on we broke down this grid into to lower numbers accordingly. The first volumes that were introduced to the grid were a two story volume (21’ high) and a one story volume (13’ high) were the idea was to explore how this two volumes intersect. Besides the set primary grid that was assigned and the secondary grid created by each one of us, there was some volumetric operations that had to be done in the intersection of both volumes and the roof of the two story volume. And from that point it was a matter of work through the grid and volumetric operations to create an outcome.
SOFTWARE: Rhino 3d, Photoshop and Illustrator.

STAIRS PROJECT - SOLID VS VOID This project consisted on the exploration of space through the use of stairs. We work through this with predetermined rules assigned by the instructor. Starting by having nine runs, later moving forward to starting the sequence at the bottom and finish it at the top. Later on we started to work with hierarchy, where I introduced a different element. This was an opportunity for me to play with space in a very constrain area trying to make it interesting for the viewer. At the same time the idea of thinking the space as a sequence helped to developed how to approach the project. This project felt at the end like a good training at modeling because I never done something like that before hand. Which now it has helped me to work through coming models in the coming projects.
