This is my design portfolio, just a part of my last seven years of work. Throughout my career I´ve explored three important fields of the world of design and each one of them have added important “ingredients” to achieve an integral design. “Product design”, “Branding design” and “Experiences design”, are the three fields that I´ve worked on. In this portfolio you can find projects that arise from problems of the community and develop the improvement of life´s quality; and other projects that emerged of

reflexions and concepts, which finally turned into a design opportunity.

Teamwork improves my performace as a designer; it is necessary to integrate the

view and the work of other disciplines to develop in a complete and efficient way my products.

Design is my passion and my life style. I love being a designer because I can set the

enviroment according to the people needs, or their desires.

Design is not God, but is everywhere…

“I’m Cüsine” was my graduate work from Product designer bachelor. This work emerged from the reflexion of «Identity building» and how can I know about others, if I don't know about me. The Identity is a mix of small parts of others in me. According to an anthropological investigation, there are 5 important circles that together define the personality: the Share-circle are family, friends, couple, collegues and parenthood. This project was focused on types of market in Colombia, which showed interest in socializing while eating and cooking. Based on that, I created a line of products that offers 5 different games, whose purpose is cooking and playing at the same time. Each one of them have different games and recipes. This game uses molecular gastronomy recipes, which allow us to create new types of interaction between food and people.

I developed just one of the products, the Parenthood line. I designed the game and the tools to perform it. All of the accesories for cook molecular recipes,whose are inspired in ”the magic”.

pRODUCT DESIGN

“Embrujo” is a game for share and spend time with your friends. This game invite the user to be a “gypsy” for a while. The Idea with this product is the user has to try to guess the future from the partner and use their imagination to invent funny histories.

How to play? 1. First prepare your table and your cups. 2. As well as you see there are two cups, the smaller one go inside the other, but between of them you must to put the paper. 3. Then enjoy your wine (doesn´t matter which wine you drink, just remember must be red wine). 4. When you finish your wine, its time to play! take out the smaller cup from the bigger one and introduce it, into the place, where the cup can stay in the table. In the end the paper will have a special mark from the Wine. 5. Now the cup it's your "crystal ball" through it you can see the future. 6. On the other Hand on the table you can see small pictograms with different meanings and then you have to compare the pictograms and the "marks on the papier". With the help of the pictograms, you can to read and improvise histories from them.

Don´t forget turn on the candle, its really important to get a mystical atmosphere.

This chair was a design for client, who live on the world of video games. He needed to be comfortable while he was playing. According to some interviews, users prefer to play on the floor, that´s why the design has no chair legs. On the other Hand the design has integrated speakers, these ones make the experience of the video gamers be more realistic .

This product is in black and white according to the different kinds of game consoles. The material is leather, the structure was made in coldrole rods and foam.

pRODUCT DESIGN

This conceptual Project, try to introduce the Classic Colombian Soccer Stars into the international game Lego. This project is a tribute to “ El pibe Valderrama” “El Tino Asprilla” and our best goalkeeper “Rene Higuita”.

Glück is a Studio that arises in Colombia, 4 years ago. Before it was called "Katkat design" but when it began to grow, the design Studio demanded a change on its name to something shorter and quick to remember. We choose this word "Glück" because the two meanings in German join together our goals in the Studio. The first meaning is "Happiness": we aim to satisfy our costumers through our work. The second meaning is "Lucky": With the service provided to our costumers, we want them to successful.

The G l ü c k ` s approach creates communication paths between our Costumer and their consumer, through integral solutions of design. This path is designed for our customers, so they can interact with their public, in a creative and innovative way. Therefore they can compete in their fields with successful results. For this reason Glück create paths since the identity to the final be experience of the consumer.

Product design "magnetic schedule" client: american system year:2012

magnetic schedule This product was designed for a Languages Company. This School had the problem that they need to change the schedule every week, according to the activities they offer. That's why first we had to propose a basic sign language for the different activities and the levels for the students have. These Language makes more easy to understand the place and the time when its the activity realized.

the User have to locate the card at the time and the day of the class. The board is showing the meaning of each one of the card.

We created all the corporate stationary for the company, letter format, envelope letter, cards for the managers, managers and sellers and accounting stationery like the receipt.

Magazine Gl端ck has designed the magazine advertisement for the allies brands of the company, for instance we made some magazines for Samsung and Sony Colombia.

The website of the company was designed with an interactive home. The goal was to create a web design with a different interface than the competitor companies and this way to stay in the top of mind of the customers.

This Furniture response to the Sony´s corporate identity. The goal of this design was to show and sell in the best way the car audio product line. We used carbon fiber vinyl to stand out the qualities of the product. Besides for the building we used Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF), Red and black laminate Formica.

This design was an answer for a Social problem in Colombia. The Colombian children are growing up without accompanied by their parent. Most of the time the adults are busy working or spending time on their own stuff, and the children are alone in front of the TV, playing video games or surfing on the internet with their gadgets. Because of that the relationship between parents and kids is broken, there is no family time. Our Jangala is a Board game in big scale designed for kids and adults in where both can share time together and build their relationship throughout the games. The most important component of the design is the exchange role, parents become children again and the kids become guiders in the game, therefore each one of them can get to know each other. This game was designed for an open place in where the people can enjoy the game like a park, parents and kids can use all the components of the game. This game is inspired in the jungle, the intention is live at Jungle environment.

This component is located in the middle of the park and has two functions: to decide which kind of character is the gamer (in this case which animal have to represent) and how many steps he/she should run.

This game have and important commitment with the environment, and have natural spaces that are part of the game and the experience. An example of a challenge that involves the mountains is « Fly, fly like an Eagle, the first eagle that arrive to the highest part of the jungle, decide the next challenge for the loser»

The Augmentet reality In some parts of the park are QR codes with augmented reality surprises. This game aim mixes the technology that the new generation of kids is interested and the «old school games» that the adults had used to play.
