WELCOME I have always believed that design has no boundaries, therefore I have tried to develop my skills throughout the globe. The experiences that I have collected have made me an admirer of function, a believer in beauty, and a innovative designer. I’m Juan Restrepo and invite you to take a look at my design work.

University of Houston Bachelors of Science in Industrial Design Houston, Texas USA I was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia

My passion for design follows me everywhere!

METHOD I tend to look at the Human body as a machine. With simple creativity, designers can provide users comfort and safety. I have a fascination with human centered design, which has led my interest to athletics and extreme environments. Let’s not forget that nature should be our mentor, and we should keep learning from its evolutionary success and adaptability.

PERSONAL PROJECT

APOLLO moonwatch

Hey, look up!

The Moon has been a guide and a source of mysticism and functionality since the beginning of human civilization. We have relied on her presence for agriculture, fertility, tidal patterns, and sailing. The phases of the Moon have been proven to affect the animal kingdom physically and psychologically. However, the Moon still holds many mysteries which has converted it into an object of creative inspiration. Our relationship to the Moon is yet to be fully understood.
