I often wonder if anybody actually reads these forwards, because they really all sound the same, best crop ever, breed leaders, next donor, can’t miss opportunities and yada yada. But I personally really do enjoy writing them and reading other forwards, so yes, its a heck of an offering and all the above rhetoric applies again this year, but....what continues to set this sale in particular apart is that year in and year out the cattle out of this sale just flat out get the job done. The past two National events in Canada were absolute show cases to prove that exact point as class after class in Toronto, Source for Success cattle rose to the top. In the Futurity, in the National Hereford Show and in the Junior Heifer Show past sale cattle brought glory, prestige and absolute jubilation to their new owners. And then; just a few weeks ago another National Champion was crowned on a past Source for Success feature, making one native Islander the happiest overage Junior in the land. And while its not all about the immediate gratification with said purchases from this sale, it is the trickle down of that same genetic source that powered other success stories and banner wins that is so satisfying and so rewarding to see. 2023 offers the same extreme quality as other years and we most definitely would like to invite you to be with us September 16 to see for yourself. If you purchase a bull calf in the Source for Success XXII sale, you can take immediate possession or let us winter him for a fee discussed with the consignor. Insurance must be placed on the calf and payment of both wintering and insurance must be made at the time of settlement (immediately after the sale). Your purchase can be picked up next April 2024.

Delivery

Elmlodge and consignors will arrange delivery at cost to the buyer. All cattle will be available for loading as soon as they are settled for. Purchases will be looked after at no charge until delivery can be arranged.

HEALTH - All animals will have passed the required tests as determined by Agriculture Canada at sale location. It is the buyer’s responsibility to determine health requirements for importing any animal into his province or state.
