COKNIT/CONNECT YEAR: 2011/2012
Experimental project based on one contradictory concept: FRAGILE PROTECTION. The inspiration for this look was translating the armor of a female knight from the medieval times into a delicate nightgown. So, my way to achieve this was using a complete change of materials: instead of using metal mesh and plates, I used elastic tulle and draped pieces of silk shantung.

MERMAID’S DREAM YEAR: 2012/2013
My next project was based on the study of telling a story using just images that could´ve came out of a fashion magazine. The story I chose to tell was a personal twist on the classic fairytale of the Little Mermaid, in this case, I wanted to show a more seductive and fragile mermaid placed in an artificial sea cave where the mystery and sensuality meet in a magical atmosphere.

WHISPERS OF ECHO YEAR: 2014/2015
The inspiration for this project came from the Greek myth of Echo. In this ancient story, Echo was a nymph who was a victim of a curse that took her freedom of speech away, by making her repeating the last words she just heard only, which prevented her from declaring her love for Narcissus. Therefore, she vanished herself to the mountains, where she consumed herself until only her voice was left, which remained cursed, echoing among the peaks for all the eternity.

AMETHYST TEARS YEAR: 2016/2017
As the Greeks told, Dionisus (God of wine), blinded by hatred for the human race, swore to pay revenge on the first human being came across his way by sending his beasts to feast on they. That unfortunate soul, was a young woman called Amethyst, who pried to be saved and so Athena transformed her into a quartz statue. When Dionisus saw that, he felt so guilty, he couldn’t help breaking down to tears, wine tears, which stained the flawless surface of the statue, creating a new gem, named after her. This project was created for a contest in Galicia called ¨Mostra do Encaixe de Camariñas¨ during April 2017. The task for the contest was utilizing the traditional lace made in that same region, and so I was lucky enough to, not only be a finalist, but also been published on the local Newspaper. Despite the fact I didn’t win, I received a personal congratulations from members of the panel of judges after the final decission was made.
