From another Perspective Healthcare centre 0.
This project tries to look at the topic of medical care from an open and non-stigmatizing point of view. The healthcare center, positioned on the former Frederiksberg hospital area, is open to the public and its architectural language intends to express that. The existing conditions of the construction site are used to the designs advantage. The original vegetation of the site is preserved and becomes the center of the design. The building acts as an instrument to use the positive effects that nature has on the body and mind. In order to enhance this effect, galleries are arranged along the outer border of the building and the courtyard, which encloses the existing smaller trees and invites you to stroll around.

Pietra Magna Music hall A music hall located in the southern Polish city of Krakow, which will offer space for artistic performances and personal exchange. The niches lining the entrance area invite you to linger and reflect on past events. The large and the small concert halls are shaped and faceted according to acoustic criteria in order to optimally break and reflect the music. On the second floor, visitors can enjoy a view of the city. Rehearsal rooms are also located here. From the outside, the building looks introverted and monolithic. Openings are carefully placed in the natural stone facade and generate views towards the river.

The Chilean Atacama desert stands out due to its globally unique climatic conditions. The desert is said to be one of the driest deserts of the world. A hyperarid climate has dominated the region for millions of years.

In this harsh climate, a research station will be created to investigate topics like desertification, hydrology and the adjustment of flora and fauna to the existing climatic conditions. Additionally, the architectural proposal will include housing for scientist that want to conduct research on the ecosystems of the Atacama Desert far from existing settlements. The scientist staying at the station will be able to live autonomously for several weeks. Furthermore, visitors will have access to the building to escape the harsh desert climate.

The ecologically sustainable building is supposed to address current developments and issues in architecture. The building, where research will be conducted, will react to its surroundings and take inspiration from existing, traditional architecture of desertic regions around the world.
