At the heart of the workshop was the development of Grasshopper scripts, centered around Kristoff’s innovative “pop-up grid” concept. This ingenious framework facilitated the construction process, streamlining its execution despite the intricate nature of the project. Augmented reality played a pivotal role in translating our artistic vision into reality. With guidance from Garvin Groepel, we harnessed this technology to bring our sculpture to life, seamlessly blending modern techniques with traditional craftsmanship. The bamboo nest demonstrates the potential of blending artistic expression, innovative design, and technological innovation to create a harmonious and evocative pieces and buildings.
