FREEDOM is the NEW currency of the modern work place. Freedom means flexible office spaces. Freedom means being able to work with others and collaborate. Above all, its being able to work anywhere you have wifi and strong coffee. Freedom means wired, mobile, flexible, self-configurable and compelling. Freedom means more than out of the box thinking because there will be no box, and there will be no cubes. While much of the business world might not be ready for this concept, this is the kind of thinking that companies need to embrace while moving into the modern business world. This also applies to the consumer of the business as well. The modern workplace will look more like a hotel or a club than an office and will operate on a fluid principle of supply and demand.

Freedom is the new currency

As new work patterns emerge, it is an ideal time to start exploring how co-working spaces can better support the needs of workers. Using the products from Steelcase Inc. the challenge was to create a co-working space that pushes the envelope of creativity, matches the program requirements, and represents what is next in coworking environments. Members of this space can include, but are not limited too web developers, researchers, independent designers, IT consultants, starting entrepreneurs and more.

Through the Rabbit Hole is an analogy of the designer’s brain. Designer’s see things in such a UP the rest of the completely different way that world that it only seem git to create Shared Spaces as an out of the box fantasy world. In the space you will find whimsical, colorful, and altered scales and unexpectedly creative design. The intent of the design is to create a space where you can draw inspiration from anywhere you are sitting. Re-imagination is not only our service learning project, but it is used in the space as well. There are elements throughout the space that once were something very different than they are now. The entirety of this space is revived idea of Alice in Wonderland and the process of going through the Rabbit Hole

Minneapolis, MN 115 S 4th Street +952.collective was created to help everyone explore their creative side, in whatever medium they choose. Housing a “Messy” and a “clean” floor, 952 will help you learn and create through photography, painting, woodworking and more. +Located in the heart of the oldest district of minneapolis, 952.collective is surrounded by some of the grandest history of the state as well as the trendiest shops, restaurants and businesses in the Minneapolis area. St. Anthony Main, as the area is called, is the start place of the whole minneapolis city during the 1800’s, housing the first ever grain mills on the mississippi which founded the great city. Designed after the motion of continuous brush stroke, 952 embodies the fluid motion that often goes along with the artists profession.
