The flooring you select should be long-lasting. Prepare your flooring for muddy paws, spills, excrement, and urine puddles. Avoid carpets because they are difficult to keep clean. If you absolutely must have area rugs, choose for reduced pile or synthetic fabrics that are easy to clean. The safest options include ceramic tiles, laminate flooring, marble, or granite. Vinyl floors, such as the wood-look luxury vinyl seen here, are very easy to clean. Wooden flooring is prone to staining and warping, while softer woods such as rubberwood and cedar are more readily damaged or dented.
Get a scratching post or a panel for your cat.
Whiskers will like scratching, so provide her a scratch pad that she will enjoy if you want to spare your couch and curtains from small claws. Choose an item that complements your decor while also providing her with a place to sleep.
Colors should be carefully chosen. Select hues that complement your pet's colouring unless you want to keep cleaning every day. If you have a black cat, for example, bright textiles should be avoided. Choose skin colors...you'll be able to unwind when your grey and white tabby naps on your grey and white recliner!
Slipcovers are a better option. Slipcovers that can be readily washed are a good alternative if you must have pricey upholstery. Choose a low-cost cloth that can be laundered if your pet has an accident. When you have visitors, simply remove them, and your magnificent house is restored!
Unique Play Pet Area
If space allows, a separate play zone is a fantastic idea. Your pet needs to burn off all that energy, so make sure he has place where he can run about and simply be himself. Instead o letting him chase a ball all around the home, let him know he has his own play area. All toys should be carefully stowed yet accessible to small legs and fuzzy paws.
