No stranger to receiving professional accolades, Alicia is an award-winning travel and food writer, a former editor at The Sunday Times and acting travel editor at Woman&Home. Alicia’s slow travel piece for The Independent exploring the Cotswolds on foot resulted in her being shortlisted as a VisitEngland Travel Content Award 2023 finalist. Alicia is a regular writer for the likes of National Geographic Traveller, Evening Standard and The Telegraph, bringing to life destinations from her travels all around the world. Alicia’s piece champions responsible travel whilst taking in the traditional experiences which make the Cotswolds ‘the ultimate British countryside pin-up’. From wandering through honey-stone villages and visiting Instagrammable farm shops to spending afternoons in cosy pubs and tea rooms, Alicia proves that you do not need a car to enjoy this picturesque region of southern England.

He launched the blog back in 2018 with the aim to ‘see the world and making it easier for others to do so’. Paul’s comprehensive travel guide to Swaledale, the northernmost and least-visited of the Yorkshire Dales, secured him a Travel Content Award finalist spot. Paul invites readers to explore this beautiful and rugged valley where ‘the tea is strong, the beer is golden, the puddings proper, and the scenery speaks for itself’ – offering plenty of practical recommendations and tips throughout his piece.
