complement each other and have similar characteristics. By Julia Schacht Some examples of these similar Characteristics are that both artists have shot their photographs from different perspectives or angles. This gives depth to the photos. Both give you a sense of
loneliness and an ominous feel. Although the two artists have similarities with in their works they also have differences. They are not exactly the same but have some key components with in them.

Denis Olivier Denis Olivier first encountered photography when his parents would preform strange dances with an object in front of their face. Alain Fleig introduced him to art photography. He felt like he had to practice photography, and with a friend he learned how to develop films and photographs. His images convey a melancholy, and a lonely feeling. Denis Olivier combined techniques of gray-scale photographing and photo manipulation in order to create a his collection of photos dedicated to the world of dreams. He photographs objects from different perspectives and point of views. Denis uses all black and white to help portray loneliness in his images. Denis Olivier is an artist and a photographer born in 1969 in France.
