a little bit about me
Architecture student at the University of São Paulo - acclaimed for being the best university in Brazil - I have always been very interested in the areas of architecture and furniture design. I have already worked not only on a small scale, designing and making executive interior drawings and specifications, but worked on corporative buildings as well, dealing with all sort of different scales and layouts. I realized with my internship experiences how much I love giving life to places, telling a story and bringing my culture within it. I enjoy participating in competitions, design and interiors, rendering, learning new things, taking lots of photographs and getting to know all kinds of people!

Furniture developed inspired by the famous brazilian fruit of the Amazon forest: guaraná. After a formal analysis of the fruit was made, its design aims to show the different layers that guaraná has. The center table has a metalic structure and three different types of wood as its materiality, since it is the most used material in brazilian design, almos like a cultural identity; just like guaraná.

This project is one of the examples of the many I have participated during my internship. AEM meant a lot to me since I was a part of it from beggining to end. I was able to help not only with the layout study and creative process, but I also made the complete detailing and rendering of this project.

Located near Trabalhador São Carlense Avenue, one of the most important avenues in the city, the housing complex shows up with different kinds of floor plans and ways of living. With 3-room apartments, tower one is an option for larger families and, with 1 or 2-room apartments, tower two provides a home for not only smaller families but also for students. As it is located in an uneven terrain, the project makes use of its implantation: it not only has an underground car park, but also a “open air gallery”, with slab openings for natural light, where stores for local commerce are found. In this way, with the free space on the ground floor, the path opens up to an environment of greater social interaction, providing a better dynamism on the block.

Program FDE School (Foundation for Development of Education), following the technical program established by the government of São Paulo.

The project proposal sought the development of a FDE school, using not only BIM softwares for its modeling, but also for the conception of details inserted in the construction, with the help of the software Grasshopper. The school is divided into 3 main blocks, according to its uses: institutional + administrative on the far left; living + services on the far right; and the central courtyard, in which the main circulation of the school is located. The parametric object design was created to be a large closure of brise-soleil, which are made by thin cementitious plates with different sizes, providing a pleasant environment and also adding an aesthetic value for the façade.

Emerging as a “breath” of the current urban reality, the Escape Parklet seeks to bring, through its design and technology, a human contact with nature, which has already been lost among the “concrete forest”. Uniting in a practical and simple way, technological resources both in its production and in its infrastructure, the parklet serves as a new environment, providing a space of sensorial escape. The project seeks to bring people who transit through the city closer to nature, since nature is left out in their everyday life. Thus, the design of the parklet aims to bring traces of this nature: with the seats in the shape of terrain contour lines; the use of gabions, vegetation and waterfall for greater texturing and also creating a sensorial environment; the furniture itself, with the shape of trees; the protection partition, which has a design inspired by indigenous symbols; in addition to the technologies used for the immersion of those who use it, an interactive LED floor for children to play with it and a sound system that plays different kinds of nature sounds.
