I’m completely in love and obsessed with design, creating a identity or campaign, solve problems, travelling and discover cultures, finding new ways to communicate, be a mentor, a director and work with people from different backgrounds. So apart from running my own business, I hope to convince you of my strong creative ability.

Three generations
Reference # 1 `Durin my classes of the department Man & Communication at the Design Academy, I’ve had intensive contact with Juliette Schraauwers over a period of three months. Juliette immediately impressed me with her unique mix of talent in the area of design and entrepreneurship. She’s independent, commercially focused, and does creative research. This is why I highly recommend her as an intern. I will follow her future career carefully, and her internship will be an indispensible, guiding step in the right direction.` - Anne Miltenburg
Champagne brand for China Currently I’m working on a identity for a new champagne brand that will be sold in China. The two European ingredients that I had to work with where Swarovski and Champagne. The client was aiming for a upperclass chic champagne bottle. I chose to work with Barok paintings from the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam that recently has been released to the public.

food rescue waste dinner friday, july 6, 2012
bring food left overs from you fridge! start 5 pm
Food is something we are depending on to survive. Why do we throw away so much food? And how can we stop this kind of waste? On the 6th of July we will do it different! We want you to bring you left overs from home. For example fruits, vegetables, fish, rice, pasta, meat or drinks, it could be anything! Platoon Kunsthalle will rescue the food from the dumpster to create a dinner. Our chef will show you how to reduce food waste in his live cooking show. While you enjoy eating the waste on a long table, you can watch „Taste the waste“ documentary by Valentin Thurn.
Taste the was-
South Korea / Food rescue Every year half of our food is thrown away. During my internship in Seoul, South Korea, I noticed that in this Asian culture it is normal to order a lot of food to show that you are rich. Because of this so much is thrown away. I took the freedom to host an event that would create awarness about this subject.
‘Een goedlopende fabriek is afhankelijk van het publiek’
A thriving factory depends on the consumer In a group with hard working Design Academy students we won a pitch to design a window in the Bijenkorf Eindhoven. We asked technical students to join us and created a interactive window. The window shows a factory made out of cardboard that is put in motion by one touch of a consumers hand. The idea is that the whole economy depends on consumers. So without the consumer the window is not moving.

Friendship never goes out of fashion
For this project I was asked to make an campaign for my company Onzin. I made a pass-on-box with Wooden brooches. They’re made out of one branch of a velvet tree. They come in a box with several brooches. You keep one broche yourself and give the box to someone who is your friend. This person will pass it on to his or hers friend, and so on. It is a way to get well-known as a design brand in a way that people not just pass the name of Onzin but they also get a gift from a friend, that gift is actually from me.
Suicide design posters
This is a project where I want to give answers to the question; What is design today? Design classics can’t stand it anymore that they are always copied over and over again. That’s why they commit suicide.
Campaign suicide Japan I have found a movie on the internet, which shows a big problem in Japan. It is about people committing suicide in the forest next to the Fiji mountain. This project beÂŹcame a big research about this problem and the deeper-rooted Japanese traditions. Next to the book I also wanted to wake up people about this problem. So I designed tags that are normally used in the morgue as a toe tag. The tags were distributed all over the city as a sign of awareness.

Designing with typography , this is a accolade symbol which is used as a mustache. I made a series of men with these accoÂŹlade mustaches in a Dick Bruna design style. Dick Bruna was an illustrator who is well-known for the bunny Miffy (Nijntje in Dutch) from Holland.
Eye film institute Amsterdam
This is a wayfinding system for the Eye Film Institute in Amsterdam. This project is made in a group of five girls where I did the coordination. We choose eyes from different cultures to indicate the direction within the building, this is why it appeals to the multicultural society of Amsterdam and their tourists.
Logo / brochure / animation
Investments in sustainable innovations asked me to design a logo that would fit the company. I made a story line of their plastic solution machine. Finally, together with an animator we made an animation movie for the website of the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment.

Reference # 3 “From september 2008 until july 2011, Juliette has worked as a hostess in the Arco showroom in Toonkamer Utrecht (former Dutch Design Centre). It was her job to welcome visitors of the Arco showroom, to provide them with all the productinformation needed and to answer their questions. She did this in an excellent, professional, pleasant and open manner. Not only did she acted reactive, but also proactive; through her creative state of mind she brought new ideas to the customers. In this way she didn’t only give information, but also inspiration. Also, she was part of our staff during the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan, in 2010” - Agerta Bokking, 2011
