Education 2016-2017 MSc in Sustainable Architecture Studies - University of Sheffield, U.K. Sustainable Architecture Studies teaches how to transform the built environment for a more equitable future supported through lectures, seminars, tutorials and practical computer work with tools such as Revit, Design Ph, PHPP, etc; The lecturers and supervisors had expertise in lighting, modelling, building performance, parametric design and materials with low embodied carbon. As a result, this allowed me to combine the social and technical aspects of Sustainable Architecture by going from an urban scale to a technical detail of an insulation build-up and exploring a different type of systems to achieve Passive Hause and EnerPHit standards always keeping in mind the importance of retrofitting and maintaining a low carbon footprint. “Unravelling the Urban Sustainable minefield” - Dissertation The dissertation studied the conflicts of the social, economic and environmental pillars of sustainability which are applied differently to the scales of the city such as the home place, neighbourhood, district, small-town, and city. I proposed diagrams in each scale to have a better understanding of the concept of sustainability that is not simplistic, is multifaceted, complex and contradictory. Passivhaus Student Competition Nomination for two projects that achieved Enerphit Standards and low energy consumption. National Scholarship Award from CONACyT and SENER to study in the University of Sheffield 2011-2016 B.A. of Architecture (Part II equivalent)- Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, Mexico. 2015 Study Abroad program.- Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, USA. Oklahoma State University Scholarships: Endowment for Excellence, Tesone Scholarship and Williams Diversity and Inclusion.
