I also enjoy the thrill of learning something new, meeting new people, having new experiences, and challenge myself so i can go out from my comfort zone. In the field of architecture, i am interested in exploration of bamboo structure, green architecture, and sustainable practice. Beside architecture, i am also interested in environmental issue, animal welfare, music, photography, videography, travelling, and makeup.

THE SOUTH OFFICE BUILDING

SCRAPING THE GREEN SKY

Third Year Studio Project Supervisor: Agus S Ekomadyo, ST., MT.

The rapid growth of a country's economy affects the rate of development of various fields in its country. This situation leads to the trend of using office spaces with lease systems-compared to proprietary systems-more desirable by organizers and companies. Therefore, rental office buildings with a variety of classes and types have been emerging, especially in big cities. The design of the leased office is not solely viewed from the side of economic benefits alone, but also in terms of architecture and how the impact of these buildings on the environment. Therefore, the design of rental offices has a design focus on flexibility, building systems, and sustainability issues.

SITE AND LOCATION Location : Jalan Buah Batu - Jalan Soekarno Hatta Bandung, West Java

Temperature Humidity

: 26.7- 30oC : 71 %

Site is located in an area of vacant land that tends to flat and don't have an extreme slope. There are no big trees on the site, but there are only bushes. Circulation and Accessibility Site can be accessed from the east and south side of the site. The east boundary of the site, Buah Batu Street, is the primary collector road and the southern boundary of the site, Soekarno Hatta Street, is the primary arterial road. Site that located between two main roads make the circulation around the site quite dense, but good accessibility from various directions.

Potency Site is located in a strategic place with clear road signage. This makes it easy for users to find this location. The location at the intersection provides more value to the building to be built within the site. In addition, the longest side of the site faces north-south. Obstacle There are not a lot of trees inside and around the site. Therefore, it need to be considered in the design. So the building can remain cool by the design of its building or by additional vegetation around the building.

MASSING CONCEPT

The mass of the building is formed from the pattern of wind movement moving toward the Northwest, so the shape of the building is slightly curved. The shape of it can reduce the wind load that received by buildings.

DESIGN CONCEPT

Catch The Light

Catch The Water

Utilization of natural air by maximing the openings and utilize the plant as an external temperature regulator. so it can happen air movement due to the difference in inner and outer temperature.

Natural lighting with majority building orientation facing north and south as the best light catcher. Secondary skin and vegetation use to reduce solar heat radiation.

Water recycling and water purification through plants and roofgarden. Rooftop water collectior is used to utilize rainwater as much as possible, then flowed into plants using gravity filtration system.

MIXED-USE DEVELOPMENT

WELCOMING THE CHAMBER OF NETWORKING

Fourth Year Studio Project Supervisor: Dr. Ir. Agustinus Adib Abadi, M.Sc.

Building area with multiple functions in Kebonjati applies the concept of public space that welcomes visitors from various sides to form a connectivity within and around the area. Implementation of the concept is also supported by aspects such as permeability, connectivity, and urban fabric. The permeability aspect relates to the pattern of human movement in the area so it can increase the connectivity between areas and increase the economic value of the mixed use area.

ISSUES

Permeability

A design that facilitates the movement of humans in achieving their location objectives and increasing the economic value of the mixed use area through the high accessibility of visitors coming to retail.

Connectivity

The concept of permeability is based on the desired inter-road connection and also from the urban fabric pattern in the region.

Urban Fabric

The urban fabric that has been densely packed in the area around Paskal Street is responded through an open mass of buildings with adequate social facilities.

MASSING CONCEPT Separation of the masses to increase the pedestrian path through the site.

Formation of open space for the concept of "welcoming"

Welcoming Area for Residences Welcoming Area for The Main Road Building connectivity between the massing

Maximize the connection inside and outside the building Mass composition to form a public space to receive visitors

INFINITE LIVING

HARMONIOUS DESIGN FROM LIFE TO SPACE

Sinarmas Land Young Architect Competition 2017 In Collaboration with Lady Viona Yacup, Ari, Devlin Nathaniel, and Josephine Amalia

Space is a platform for humans to do activitis. Every activity in human life will have an impact on space, either directly or indirectly. Human interaction with other living creatures around it, such as animals and plants, will also affect the existing space. The concept of INFINITE LIVING is carried out in the design of a commercial mixed-use area to present a comprehensive habitation, work and recreation space by reviewing aspects of life and the way of human life along with human interaction with the environment. Thus, the designed space will motivate people to manage and establish a better environment in the future.
