There are many single parents or couples who work in a business field, which requires them to travel frequently to countries that they are not familiar with, in order to attend a conference or a meeting with clients. And as they don’t have much choices, they leave their children behind, or they simply choose not to be in the traveling part in their company, so they lose the opportunity to travel and advance their careers to stay with their children because it is challenging for them to find a good place that can entertain their children and keep them safe while they are at a business meeting. The intention behind the design of the hotel is to make business trips easier and more pleasant and less worrisome to parents with children. In other words, it is a place for the parents to work and socialize with other parents who share the same interests as it allows them to enjoy themselves and relax and spend more quality time with their children. A business hotel that has daycare facilities for 3 to 6-year-old children and a business center, which they can stay in from 1 day to 30 days maximum, is going to allow them to enjoy themselves and relax and also spend more quality time with their children.

The Perspective illustrates the central area of the hotel, which is the “connection area between the children and their parents. The flooring in this area is interactive flooring which lights up once stepped upon. This type of flooring was used in order to emphasize the connection, bonding and interaction that takes place between children and their parents in this area where they can sit before and after dropping off their children in the daycare.

“Shift as a concept is concerned about the client’s desire to have a retreat which will assist in shifting him/her mentally from a stressed, hectic, fast-paced life into one that is serene, quiet and bright. The space is intended to bring the client into a different frame of mind, even if only for one weekend.
2. Snow Heaven
The design is flexible in order to conform Bubble Diagram to a weekend house. The second floor is a movable floor that has a swimming pool underneath it. It can be raised up to create privacy and reveal the swimming pool area or it can belowered down and be part of the public area. So the whole idea is about separating the private area from the public area and when they come together they create one unified whole.

The concept “Metamorphosis which was induced from the gradual opening up of the neighborhood. The Brooklands neighborhood changed from being inhabited by one certain group of people with their specific culture, ideas and architecture since its inception and then as is always the case, the neighborhood started to have more and more people from different ethnic backgrounds and different cultures, thoughts, and ideas and it became more open. As such, in my design I tried to illustrate the concept by maximizing then minimizing the boundaries thus giving the sense of closedness and openness.

The design of the fixture is driven from the concept “Continuous Movement. The intent of the design is to illustrate the concept of continuity by constructing the fixture in such a way that makes the eye follow the lines of the fixture which are dotted by the lights.

In order to emphasize the concept of continuity, the fixture is symmetrical and there is no stopping point.
