The Covid-19 pandemic has forced all activities such as work and school, which were initially carried out in certain places, to be carried out at home due to restrictions on community activities. From this background, this house was designed taking into account the conditions of the pandemic which must meet the needs of the family to carry out all activities at home. Natural air circulation and natural lighting are important things to consider in designing this house.

The initial form is in the form of a box by following the building boundaries regulation on the site.

Addition on the second floor to serve as a balcony.

Subtraction in the middle of the house which is used as an inner garden.

DESIGN RESPONSE TO PANDEMIC

There is a sink on the front porch for guests to wash their hands before entering the house.

The living room is at the front of the house so that there is a space limit for guests, and there are roster bricks for ventilation

The outdoor garden serves as a place for various activities such as sports, sunbathing, and gardening.

The inner garden cools the space in the house and gets natural lighting and air circulation.

Project Type: Villa

PROJECT OBJECTIVE

The villa is not far from Jakarta, with an area of 960 sqm. This villa was built with the purpose of as a refreshing place or family holiday after tiring of activities that are visited every weekend of holiday. Because it is in a strategic location, the best view from the villa is on the east where there are mountain views; for that, there is an open area on the north side, and there is a swimming pool and some facilities towards the mountains.

A midterm project where asked to redesign the interior and layout for the terrace of a cafe in the middle of a garden which is in need of revitalization. This cafe has a minimum capacity of 15 seats.

PROJECT OBJECTIVE

Located in Thamrin, Central Jakarta, This apartment was designed for the upper-middle-class, using the concept of flexibility to solve a design problem.

Designing an apartment using the concept of flexibility in the unit section to respond to problems where workers have difficulty getting a place to live in the city center because land prices tend to be expensive but also have difficulty getting apartment units that are minimalist but can accommodate all activities.

The shape of this apartment tends to be square according to the form of the buildings around this site.

FLEXIBILITY ASPECT

The concept of flexibility used in this apartment is a sliding wardrobe, which is contained in a studio unit with an area of 25m2 which can accommodate all the activities of residents without taking up a lot of space. This wardrobe can be shifted according to the needs of the occupants.
