01 The Sounds of silence public multi experiencing bath in Hongneung, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul August 2016
This site is a combination of factors are intersecting with each other. To a number of factors, including the intersection is history, culture, age groups but they don't have any place to stay with each other. The neighborhood is also necessary that the mediators associated with the villagers and Project 'Hongreung Bio Medicare Dlusters' that is planned in the future. The project main goal was to establish a building that holds the congestion of town in one of the areas of space. And yet at the same time, the building has to have a look around the square and open communication. This building is constructed beside city hall square. Library is should constructed in place that people in London are passing and gathering together often. The site used park originally. I want to do not ruin the memory of people about the park because of the new building. I took out half of site and made plaza still serves as park.Memories of people are shared at the place. But the plaza has function of library. From inside of building to plaza outside, library users can move free. Library has collision of geometry. Box of lower floor crash with 3 sphere of upper floor, so inside and outside spaces are formed. Upper floors have more private programs. Lower floors are public spaces, so they are open to noise. But there are mediate space because of the smaller scale, and reducing of noise in the sphere mass. Also it makes people feel like floating in the center of the city sky. The experience could refreshing them. It become a space cause desire to go up.

Saltic states get independence with nonviolence protest. It showed just how effctive nonviolent protest can be. We want to make Memorial which remind people that moment like a time machine. we want that they can see the moment beyond it. Remembering is thinking from specific part of moment. we set human chain & song of freedom as part. The parallel two mirrors reflect one people infinitely. The water which not stop but flow-ahead make sound. each thing can reflect human chain& song of freedom.

Including public bus, many cars was too busy to move people. Dispite of military threat of Soviet Union, they finally gather together at appointed time pm 7:00 and sing song of freedom. It has sky-garden on the roof. the exhibition space, souvenir shop, cafe is undder it. people can stop by there befor or after hilight area

Parallel special glass mirror We choose mirror coated with special glaze. through this mirror, people can see outside at inside but surface reflect the light from outside. when people walk waterside they meet infinite human chain. on the other hand, when they are in cafe they can see the effect on the mirror in which they are. it will give them see the same eexperience with different view.

Waterfall & Gravels At the highlight area, people walk not on stepping-stones, but gravels. wading across shoal, make sound as their foos step. If they don’t, there is white noise from small waterfall beyong the mirror.

Water circulation The water cleaner and pump which is under the basement care water circulation. roof-garden support to gather rain. water level and distrivution avoid original trees. people should walk on stepping-stones but in the hilight area, they can go on without it because water level is low enough.

This project is intended once again to save the value of being abandoned in the city and begin with. We have the function and value, not reuse can be more to the up-cycle of the concept into a "up" thought. In addition a new type of design into an abandoned bicycle wheels made a Christmas tree.
