Editor’s Note
There is always an air of excitement when spring is near for me as I get to celebrate both my daughter’s birthday’s and the commencement of the warmer weather is upon us. Hopefully we can wear all our stylish spring/summer fashion soon. As a mother of two teenage daughter’s I have always loved fashion and style. I have been an avid blogger for a few years and have seen the web community grow. From just a few boutiques online to mother’s everywhere opening up their own online shops from their own handmade creations to designer shopping boutiques. Hence the JUNIOR EPITOME directory came about to be a one stop GUIDE to help find something special or for everyday stylish finds for all the special people in your life. Thank you to each and every person who has helped me grow and supporting me along the way and most of all for diving in for this launch issue of JUNIOR EPITOME DIRECTORY MAGAZINE. You will never know how much I appreciate you all. Happy Shopping !!
Much love Vicki xx

Where do you reside? Kirrawee, Sydney What is special about where you live? I love the cul-de-sac street where we live, its child friendly and peaceful. The neighbours gather every Easter and Christmas and do fun activities for the kids. I also love being close to Cronulla beach, it's always lovely to go for a walk and grab a coffee/lunch at Zimzala or Hams. How did you get your business started? My little Jedi" label was born from my love of cards, beautiful design and passion for all things pretty & vintage which basically started when my son Aniken was born. Since I discovered "blogosphere", it has definitely opened more opportunities and my perspectives have changed. I have my own range of party pintables and my goal is to become 'one stop shop' for fun, trendy and accessible stationary for the busy mum that wants to celebrate her child's special event in style. Two months ago I launched my own online magazine and I am truly overwhelmed with the incredible response. What is your favourite childhood memory? Spending time with my family and visiting my grandparents during school holidays. They had a lovely veggie garden and I loved being involved with all the gardening activities. What are some memories that you like to create for your children? My husband and I work full time so we definitely look forward to the weekend. Spending family time is very important to us and we enjoy taking Aniken to the park, going for walks and visiting friends and family. I want my son to remember our times as fun and happy. Who inspires you? My dad is very inspirational to me. I am thankful for all the good advice he has provided me throughout the years and he has helped me enormously and I can always count on him. He keeps reminding me to follow my dreams and has always told me that 'life is precious; you only get one chance, so make the most of it.’ Work wise - The online world is such an incredible resource full of eye-candy and inspiration. Amy Atlas and Donna Hay are huge creative influences and provide an amazing source of inspiration. Also the new wave of WAHM's and their amazing ideas are so inspiring to me. Describe your perfect day? Sleep in, breakfast near the beach, going for a walk with my two favourite boys, followed by a yummy lunch, afternoon nap, followed by a movie night with hubby.
Mum Revelations
Vesna My Little Jedi {Editor, Blogger, Party Stylist}
Favourite holiday destination? I come from European background so I am dying to go back to Europe next year and see my friends and family. I really miss all of my family in Macedonia, the people are so kind and welcoming and of course the cuisine is to die for! What are some of your favourite items that you could not live without? Oh this is easy ~ iPhone, ipad, ghd, coffee, lip-gloss, car, credit card ;) What is your favourite product for kids and why? I have to say Lego. Young or old, almost everyone loves Lego. My 2 year old son has revived the passion for the small bricks that I had forgotten since I was a child. It's so versatile you can create almost everything you want, I love all the Star Wars lego characters. What is one product you have bought that you did not need but just had to have? Few months ago I purchased a vintage typewriter and now I have ended up with 3 of them. little obsessive, I know! But I love them all! Your favourite children's fashion label? Minti, Sooki Baby & Witchery kids What is your family's favourite meal? Roast loin of pork with crispy crackling and roasted veggies. My son loves eating sweet potato, corn and char-grilled haloumi. Mmm yum! Are you a fashion conscious mother? I am not really into any particular brands, I love going shopping for clothing that are feminine and classic which can be mixed and matched and won't go out of fashion too quickly. What is the best thing about being a mother? The best job in the world for me is being a mum. I never thought I could love so much. I always thought, does unconditional love exist? Now I know it does because I feel it. It's really changed me completely and it has made me a lot stronger too. It's such a wonderful feeling.
