A travel guide to Bukit Timah Summit

Bukit Timah Summit is in Singapore. It has 3 of what I call “scaffolding towers.” The path up to it is… you know, steep. It is located around the Central Catchment Area and the Singapore Quarry. Its elevation is around 160~170 meters (163.63 to be exact!) From the path where you start your ascent, I estimate that it takes around 15~30 minutes to walk up to the peak of Bukit Timah Summit. No, don’t worry, it doesn’t snow there! It’s not even cold! It’s only an elevation of 163.63 meters, as I told you. Plus, Singapore is hot, so it’s not even a bit cold there.

WARNING: When you go down, the last slope is very steep at around a 45 degree angle, so be sure to get your tightest grip!

How to get there

Go straight (first path is a steep ascent so be careful!) Then keep right (Keep left to see a high view of the Singapore Quarry!) Continue straight up the stairs for a shortcut but if you’re a PWD or anything related to that, keep left to continue on the flat road. When you arrive, you will see a hut and a rock that says “Bukit Timah Summit” on it. That means you have reached the peak of Bukit Timah Summit!
