TABLE OF CONTENTS

01. SKYSCRAPER BUILDING DESIGN

This is my 10-floor skyscraper academic building design in South Korea. The 1st to 3rd floors and the 4th to 10th floor have the same floor plan shape. On the rooftop has a storages water tank. These water tanks support the bathroom plumbing. The 4th floor is a cafeteria to hang around; therefore, I made a balcony to step outside to enjoy eating outside. Other floors are classrooms for learning and studying. Additionally, I used a lot of curtain walls to make a more modern look of building design and more natural lights come in so it helps students to study better and does not feel like stay in a blocking wall room. Provide an elevator for the 10th-floor building so students are easy to move all the way to the 1st to the 10th floor.

In this building, I focus on showing a lot of details on wall construction. When evening comes, a part of the diamond pattern on the wall starts to light up. It protrudes one inch from the existing wall.

02. REALISTIC WATER EFFECT

(Pool in the backyard somewhere) My main idea was I want to focus on water effect as a render. Try use V-Ray render to show the reflection of the water effect on the ceiling and water wave effect on the pool. These render I was trying to shows how powerful I can handle the rendering to show super realistic as possible. Back ground is where I live in South Korea. my home town is surounded by littler mountin and hill with ocean.

03. G-STAR RAW FASHION SHOW

(G - Star Raw) G - Star Raw is a Dutch clothing company known for its street style and edgy look. I create the U-shape fashion show stages with tulip flowers to keep the Netherland concept of the fashion show. Create a lot of lights to make the stages more stunning and four columns with the water fall on the wall show the class feeling. On the wall has unique glass pattern shape on the wall with the strip LED lights give some interesting hallway. I designed in a staircase shape to make it easier for the audience to see model.

04. SMALL RESIDENTIAL HOUSE DESIGN

LIVING ROOM

A small residential house design

MASTER ROOM

Thinking of my personal living style to design a small housing. I always want to have the kitchen and living room connected together so it is more spacious in the main area to spend most of my time in the house and watch T.V while I’m eating dinner when I live alone. Extra two more rooms are for welcome anyone to become my roommates because I do not want to live alone anymore. I prefer to welcome guests from my family or friends to stay in my small housing. Please come visit! I am also good at cooking.

Pavilion design in the empty building in Sacramento midtown. There is an information desk in front of the pavilion entrance and when you enter the entrance, you can check the display screen when you go up to the stair. I used 2 uniquities and simple triangular shapes on the bottom and top. The top triangular shape is 4 times bigger and heavier than the bottom part, this triangular shape barely holding on the bottom edge of the triangle shape. This really makes my pavilion very interesting with a triangular shape design. Used 2x4 plywood, 2x4 white gloss glass, and plywood frame

06. PAVILION IN SACRAMENTO DOWNTOWN PARK

(Step 1) Circle with guideline

(Step 2) Draw out the shape

(Step 3) Make surface shape

Design Challenge Detail of the Pattern shape and show how each pattern is connecting all together as one giant piece of the pavilion. Adding frames and pick the right material was another channeling part for this project work.

(Step 4) Add 3 shape together as one peace

(Step 5) After done with the surface shape, Stat adding frame and pattern

07. REDESIGN CSUS BUILDING

California State University, Sacramento Site Plan

Mariposa building in California State University, Sacramento

This project focus on the interior of the building. My concept was every time interior architecture students are complaining about the inconvenience to use the facility or being in the classrooms and others. Furthermore, I consider the problem caused by the coronavirus as well, so the classrooms and convenience facilities in my major were changed by my idea concept of the create a new classroom design with or the facility we want

Linear Organizations

4TH FLOOR

I want spaces to be repetitive but may or may not be alike in size, form, or function. I try not to be the too straight line for the corridor area I want to be the stair and elevator area circulated to it more spacious look.

08. MARINA VISTA IN DOWNTOWN SACRAMENTO

TOTAL : 780 SF HOUSE

Marina Vista apartment is in downtown Sacramento. Marina Vista apartment has been for over 80 years and one of the oldest apartments in downtown Sacramento and they never repair anything seen for the late 1940s, Therefore; I redesign the new house design. There are income is low or mostly they last the job so set up the square footage of the house was 780 SF or lower. Design Challenge One of the big design problems was to make a small house look even a little wider and to fit all the furniture and necessary things into each room. Radically, these area people are low incomes and many disabled people are living in there so used AIA code for the bathroom area to make disabled people use it more comfortably. I stuck with the one storage. the reason was for disabled people or someone who is looking for moving in for the future residences and everything.
