01 HADKAN PENGAMBILAN AIR - Sukat minuman anda. - Hadkan minuman anda 1 hingga 1.2 liter sehari. Ini termasuk buahbuahan, sup dan bubur.

02 KURANGKAN PENGAMBILAN GARAM - Kurangkan makanan yang masin.

- Kurangkan kuah pada makanan anda. - Elakkan makanan dalam tin.

MAKAN UBAT-UBATAN YANG TELAH DITETAPKAN OLEH DOKTOR • Makan ubat anda secara teratur. • JANGAN berhenti makan ubat-ubatan anda walaupun anda berasa sihat.


04 GALAKKAN BERSENAM - Bersenam mengikut toleransi anda sendiri, sekurang-kurangnya 3 kali seminggu selama 15 hingga 30 minit. - Hentikan aktiviti itu jika anda mengalami sakit dada atau sesak nafas. - Ambil rehat yang kerap di antara latihan dan aktiviti.

05 BERHENTI MEROKOK DAN ELAKKAN MINUMAN ALKOHOL

AWASI BERAT BADAN ANDA SETIAP HARI - Timbang berat badan anda setiap hari untuk mengawasi peningkatan berat badan. Ia harus dilakukan sekali pada setiap pagi; selepas buang air kecil & sebelum sarapan. - Catatkan berat badan anda pada kalendar / buku harian. Sila segera berjumpa doktor jika anda mengalami sesak nafas, sakit dada, kenaikan berat badan melebihi 1kg sehari / 3kg seminggu atau bengkak pada kaki
