JurongHealth, the public healthcare cluster formed to facilitate the integration of services and care processes for the community in the west, manages the integrated healthcare hub in Jurong East, comprising the 700-bed Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and 400-bed Jurong Community Hospital, as well as Jurong Medical Centre in Jurong West. Managed by JurongHealth since April 2012, Jurong Medical Centre aims to deliver quality specialist and day surgery services through the same care teams from Ng Teng Fong General Hospital. We also offer a comprehensive range of community health and support services to residents in the west.

Jurong Medical Centre (JMC) is a one-stop specialist and ambulatory centre which brings outpatient specialist care and day surgery services right to the doorstep of residents in the west. Managed by JurongHealth, JMC reinforces JurongHealth’s vision of “Transforming Care, Bringing Health to Every Home”, giving patients in the west easy access to specialist care and various outpatient treatments and day surgical procedures, all under one roof without stepping into a hospital.

Surgical services We offer a range of convenient day surgery services.

Dental services We provide a comprehensive range of general and advanced specialist dental care. A primary clinician will lead a multi-disciplinary team to provide dental care customised to each individual patient’s needs and to ensure continuity of your dental care.

ENT services Our ENT services treat adult patients with diseases of the ear, nose, throat, head and neck regions. Our dedicated team of clinicians and audiologists aim to provide the best individualised care for our patients.


Eye services Our Eye Clinic provides eye care and treatments for a wide range of vision problems including age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, corneal disease, as well as other conditions affecting the eyes. Our eye team of clinicians, nurses and optometrists aim to provide the best eye care for your needs.

General Surgery services Our General Surgery services provide consultation and surgical services for a variety of abdominal conditions. Our surgical services are usually done as day surgeries, and patients are discharged on the same day and do not require an overnight hospital stay, resulting in a more comfortable and faster recovery.

Orthopaedic Surgery services Our orthopaedic surgeons diagnose and treat a range of bone-related conditions such as: • Hand and reconstructive microsurgery • Hip and knee surgery • Musculoskeletal oncology (tumours) • Orthopaedic trauma surgery (fractures) • Shoulder and elbow surgery • Sports medicine

Medical services Our clinicians can help patients manage a variety of medical conditions.

Dermatology services Our Dermatology services manage a host of medical and surgical dermatological conditions. The most common conditions treated are eczema, acne, urticaria, psoriasis and skin infections, and the most common surgical and aesthetic conditions treated are benign skin growths, cancerous skin growths and skin pigmentation.


Health & Wellness services Early detection is important to help you stay well and reduce risk factors associated with diseases. Our customised and evidence-based health screenings provide an assessment of your health, and follow-up is also available to address specific health concerns.

Renal services Our Renal services include customised clinical care, from screening to detect kidney problems early to treatment and management of a spectrum of kidney conditions. The multi-disciplinary team also provides patients and their caregivers with education and counselling to slow down and manage kidney diseases, as well as support for dialysis and transplant where necessary.

Support services To complement our surgical and medical services, we also offer various support services. • Audiology Our audiologists provide a range of diagnostic and rehabilitative services to address the communication and listening needs of the community. We offer comprehensive hearing evaluation, dispensing of hearing aids, hearing loss prevention and tinnitus therapy.


• Occupational Therapy Our occupational therapists use exercises, assistive aids and environment modifications to help individuals maintain their activities of daily living and overcome physical and cognitive disabilities resulting from hand and finger injuries, stroke or neurological disorders, geriatric conditions and occupational injuries. • Optometry Our optometrists work closely with eye doctors to diagnose and manage common eye conditions such as age-related macular degeneration, cataract, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma and refractive error. • Pharmacy The JMC pharmacy serves your prescription medication needs, and can even refill prescriptions from other institutions. It serves as a one-stop centre for patients and the community, offering healthcare products, home care equipment and aids for independent living. Our pharmacists will also gladly provide counsel on self-medication for minor ailments and answer any healthcare enquiries. • Physiotherapy Physiotherapy helps individuals who suffer from musculoskeletal and sporting injuries, stroke or geriatric conditions to manage pain, as well as restore and enhance their movement and physical functions. Our physiotherapists develop customised treatment plans that include exercise, manual therapy, electrophysical modalities and patient education to optimise mobility and everyday functionality. • Radiology Our radiologists perform x-rays, including imaging services in the Operating Theatre, and mammograms to assist in the diagnoses of a variety of medical conditions.
