Instructor Development and Facilitation
Course Schedule: Jan - Aug, 2013 Meet JIBC Instructor, Kylie Hutchinson Kylie Hutchinson, BSc (Health Studies), has been an evaluator and trainer in private practice since 1997. She specializes in planning and evaluation for government and non-profit agencies.
“The best part about instructing is meeting my students. My connections with them allow me to incorporate many real-world examples into our learning activities to make them more relevant and applicable. Students are hungry for immediate application of what they are learning, which is very rewarding as an instructor. We’re providing “just-in-time”, “just-enough”, and “just-for-me” learning. The short-course format allows students to fit learning into their busy work week without significantly disrupting their schedules.”

What our clients are saying... A student perspective “My job position required me to do some facilitation and instruction and the JIBC was an obvious choice. My employer got me started, and knowing that my employer is invested in my learning motivates me to take risks in my work and use the new material that I’ve learned at the JIBC. Taking the courses together with my team provided us with the opportunity to really get to know one another, understand our differences and gain an appreciation for these differences. I have had many ahha moments at the JIBC, all of which have taken me forward to make changes in the way I think and how I approach different projects and challenges.” Emily Baxter Field Educator, Court Services Branch
