ORIGINALLY FROM: Jackson, Mississippi, but came to Somersett via 29 years in California – 14 in the Bay Area and 15 in Granite Bay (near Sacramento).

WHY SOMERSETT? A grandbaby in Truckee caused us to start looking in the area and on my first visit to Somersett I knew I wanted to live here!

GREATEST ACCOMPLISHMENT: I started a non-profit to rescue children from sex trafficking; giving a voice to those who don’t have one.

FAMILY: Husband, Michael; son Austin, his wife, Catherine; their son, my grandson Bodhi; son Michael-Dean, his wife, Katie, and youngest son Ben.

FAVORITE ACTIVITIES: Hiking, planning events, cooking for friends and family.

SOMETHING PEOPLE MIGHT BE SURPRISED TO KNOW ABOUT YOU: I joined the Somersett Events Committee only two weeks after I moved here! I wanted to meet my neighbors!
