This mock-up illustrates the front and right sides of the traffic box. The front faces Main Street, the right faces Garden Street.

On this side, I brought in similar tones as on my other bucket series pieces with paint splashes and splatters. I outlined some in black and added additional patterns over top for more whimsy and graphic impact. Hoping to gain attraction by a wider range in audience ages was also at mind while I chose the palette. The diagonal stripes were inspired by caution tape as an additional tool to visually attract people to the box.

This mock-up illustrates the back and left sides, facing the Idaho Marine and the other boxes. The warning label reflected on the opposite side was ultimately removed because this side is near butt-up against another box and doesn’t have much visual real estate.
