A lot of guys have this misconception that in order to build muscle they have to eat plain, boring and disgusting meals everyday. Not every man or woman wants to eat scrambled eggs, chicken breasts with rice, tuna fish often. There are plenty of meals you can cook, that are tasty and will help promote muscle gain and fat loss. I use to eat the same basic meals regularly such as, sausages and chips, burgers and chips, pizza, Chinese takeaways and chicken and pasta. I hadn’t got a clue what was healthy and what food would help me build lean muscle and get ripped at the same time. For the past 3 years I’ve been eating clean but the problem was that I didn’t really enjoy my meals as much as I do today.

Most of the meals I cooked consisted of the following: Breakfast: Boiled Eggs and a bowl Porridge (Oatmeal) Lunch: A Chicken Salad Sandwich and a protein shake Dinner: Grilled Chicken Breast, brown rice with veggies Supper: Can of Tuna and a protein shake My flat mate use to make fun of me for trying to eat healthy while I watched him scarfing down his double cheese burger and large taco fries. While my diet may have been a healthier option, I didn’t particularly enjoy eating


plain, boring meals most of the time. When I look back now I was really only eating for fuel, instead of for pleasure. I felt I had not choice but to endure the same boring meals to help me stay in shape.
