What you will do is to combine the soy sauce, honey, ginger, vinegar, garlic powder and vegetable oil in a blender or a mixer. Then after this, lay down the flank steak in a shallow glass or in a dish then coat the mixture on both sides of the steak. Cover the meat and refrigerate it for about 8 hours or let it sit overnight. Once the steak is ready, start heating the grill and put it into high. Then once you've already achieved the desired heat, slowly put the fire into middle heat. Brush the grate with oil in order for the steak to be cooked nicely. Grill the flank steak for about 10 minutes each side. Serve it with your favourite salad or with any side dish. Another favourite Barbecue grilled steak recipe is the grilled flank steak with basil marinade. This is perfect for any occasion that will surely be loved by your guests, friends and family as well. What you will need is 1 pound flank steak, ¼ cup Dijon mustard, ½ cup basil leaves, chopped, 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce and ¼ cup of olive oil. Place the steak in a seal-able plastic bag or in a container that is non-metallic. Then combine all of the ingredients in a blender or in a mixer and then pour the mixture over the steak. Let the steak sit for awhile and marinate it for around 1 to 4 hours. Then grill the steak over high heat for around 4 minutes on each of the side until medium rare.
