Portfolio of Work
“I must become a better version of myself. I say this to myself now because I am consciously aware of how much I want to improve. I have had this mindset as a child though I was not aware of it. This desire for self-improvement combined with curiosity and determination is what defines me as a student.
I wish to contribute to the urban environment which respects nature to the highest extent. I intend to join a design school which will encourage curiosity while reciprocating and rewarding determination, a school which respects every person’s vision. I hope to attend a progressive school which encourages experimentation and conceptualization while helping students evolve into greater versions of themselves. Perfection is impossible to reach but why not try?

A major inspiration for Promethean Rise is the story of Prometheus, the Titan who stole fire from the gods and gave it to man. Summer 2017 A study of how Finnish Designers and Finnish People appreciate natural light. Finland recieves 19 hours of sunlight in the summer and 5 hours of light during the winter while Baltimore receives 14 hours of light in the summer and 8 hours of light in the winter. With such a great contrast in light intake I got the chance to observe how Finnish designers appreciate natural light with human scale light, beyond human scale light, functional light, and contrast.
