1/ What is JETCROSS® ? JETCROSS® is the only championship in the world reserved for Ski stand-up and freestyle. It gives official titles for french champions in according to the Fédération Française Motonautique (FFM) rulebook. New for 2013, will see the arrival of the European Jetcross Tour !

Watercraft racing has 2 disciplines, Ski for stand-up and runabout for sit-down, several types of racing formats (mention closed course, endurance, offshore, rally jet, freestyle, freeride), not to mention classes (stock engine, superstock, modified) difficult for a novice or even a seasoned racer to understand ! Our concept is clear, associated with the term exist JETCROSS® : closed course racing Stand-up and Freestyle.

2/ Race format

Between 800 and 1200 cc, for power ratings from 100 hp to 200 hp or more. Speeds of up to 110 km / h. Rapid acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 2.5 seconds! In this configuration different categories are classified according to the power of the watercraft and skill level of the rider : • • • • • •

Ski Elite (formula one class !) Ski Promotion (max of 160 hp) Ski Amateur (max of 110 hp) Ski Junior (between 14 to 16 years old) Ski Veteran Open (over 35 years old) Sport Open (sit-down watercraft with only one place)

RACE IN EXCEPTIONAL PLACES WITH THOUSANDS OF SPECTATORS

The track

FREESTYLE Class specific hulls short and ultra lightweight with high-powered engines developing more than 200 hp ! Riders must perform a routine of 3 minutes will be judged by an panel of experts. Only two categories for freestyle PRO and AMATEUR.

BEST RIDERS INVOLVED IN JETCROSS TOUR

The track is marked by buoys 80 cm in circumference. Tracks are of CLOSED COURSE type. We distinguish three types of track which are adapted to the race site. However, each type of circuit must have a minimum lap time, a minimum of one minute for the Pro (length of between 1000 m and 1200 m). In the best case, a double parallel slalom marked using contrasting colors, followed by the standard track set-up. For tracks in the sea shore, depending on the state of the water (waves, shore break ...) a simple track can be installed.

The start : Priority departures are stopping at the water’s edge. The procedure can be lights, or elastic. In all cases, according to the site conditions, a rolling start can be used if necessary. Track takes place in ocean surf conditions

4/ Example time schedule

In 2013, the French Championship took place over 6 events from May to September : Cogolin (Golf of St Tropez), Pontà-Mousson (North of France), So’Fun Village (near Paris), Alès (South), Moissac (South west) and Avignon (South east). This schedule takes into account the geographical locations of the race to create a fair distribution of sites for riders coming from the north or south. In addition, it also allows water conditions, the reception of teams, and spectators...

SATURDAY

For 2014, we will retain a French Championship of four races and add five events more to create the Jetcross Tour World Tour. The locations of Jetcross ® Tour 2014 are currently in discussion. We have several choices which will soon become clearer, including superb cities and exceptional sites, like Dubai (UAE), Roses (SPAIN), Fréjus (FRANCE), and others countries like AUSTRIA, SWITZERLAND, HUNGARY, CROATIA and THAILAND. The calendar will be finalised in February 2014 on www.jetcrosstour.com

10 am to 12 pm : Second moto race 2 pm to 6 pm : Final moto race Prize giving ceremony* * podiums are held just after the final (third moto), or at the end of the event, in front of the hospitality trailer and sponsors logos.

Depending on the race site and the host club, a parallel slalom can be arranged, + freestyle show at the night or Flyboard show.

5/ Riders The Jetcross ® Tour 2013 has been, for its second year an incredible success on the account of the attendance and number of registered riders. Throughought the whole of the season 180 riders participated in at least one of the six events of the Jetcross® Tour. An average of 105 drivers at each meeting. It is indeed a RECORD IN FRANCE AND IN THE WORLD, over twelve nations were represented in 2013 (Belgium, Switzerland, Monaco, Serbia, Belorussia, Italy, England, Austria, Sweden, Norway, Holland, Spain, Portugal) and this is expected to increase hugely in 2013. The Jetcross® Tour has acquired an international reputation.

THE MOST HARDER JETSKI CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE PLANET

The world’s best riders are mostly french, and they come to the Jetcross® Tour. Here is a list of riders who participated in the Jetcross® and have renewed their registrations for 2014 :

Jetcross® is a visual sport and an impressive SHOW ! Race sites are usually placed close to a town centre. Jetross attracts large audiences as the event has free access. Visibility is very good for the spectators who can watch all the action from just a few meters away !

Access to the track and paddock are usually free. In addition, competitors and teams are very accessible for people and children who wish to have a poster autographed or simply exchange a few words with a rider. Indirect benefits for municipalities guests : - Between 250 k€ and 500 k€ per race
