My name is Jeffry Zefanya Ginting, I’m 23 years old, and I have finished my study in Graphic Design at Institut Kesenian Jakarta in 2014.
As a graphic designer, I like to create something that meaningful. I like to make a logo design, layouting, and designing promotional items.
I would like to work with people that can make me give the best out of myself and to inspire people with it. I want to work with people that I trust and who trust in me.
I’m really into sports, especially futsal, because doing sports, any kind of sport keeps me healthy.

RNG SPORT This is the thesis project of my brother, a sports center project which has several sports facilities, namely, futsal courts, tennis courts, badminton courts, and a swimming pool.
The initial concept of the logo was how to show that as a sports center, this place has several sports facilities, which are futsal, tennis, badminton, and swimming, but at the same time displaying the initials of the owner of this sports center, RNG.
KJB CALENDAR
R The idea from this calendar was how to make it becomes something more than just a reminder of the date, then we came up the idea to make a story with photographs inside.
An object that has a close meaning to a story is a story book, and that became the design concept of this calendar, and to give a “memories� impression in these photograph, the vintage comic concept was used to represent the message.
LINGKAR FILM Lingkar Film is a new production house, and they want a logo that represent film well. So, I came up with the idea to form a minimalist movie camera shape because it represents film well and the iconic film reel shape represents their company name as well.
MERDANG RANI Merdang Rani is a credit union runs by the congregations of GBKP , and as a credit union they have an objective to help the funding of their members. The idea of the logo came from their objective, and that was “helping�. The image of the logo shows a man helps the other and still showing the initial of Merdang Rani.
LOVE YOUR LOCAL CULTURE
Love Your Local Culture is a clothing line and art brand that my brother and I built. The brand has a mission to introduce the local culture of Indonesia to the public.
The concept of the logo was batik, That
because
batik
represent
Indonesia, and many regions in Indonesia have their own batik. The characteristic of batik is shown by the repetition of the pattern in the “L” shape”. LYLC itself is the abbreviation of Love Your Local Culture.
The color used in the logo is brown. Most of Indonesian batik use this color, and the meaning of this color are “down to earth” and “humble”.
PORSENI
GBKP or Gereja Batak Karo Protestan has many branches throughout Indonesia. To strengthen the relationship as well as to show the talents of the church congregations in sports and arts, they held porseni in 2015, in Yogyakarta.
Yogyakarta has a lot of local cultures, one of them is their shadow puppet. Karo, as the origin on GBKP also has it’s local cultures, one of them is the woven cloth (uis nipes and beka buluh). Karo’s woven cloth has it’s unique colors, those are red, gold, and black. From those characteristics, then came up the concept to merge both into a name tag design.
The images from the design are the sport and art branches that being competed, those are volleyball, basketball, mini soccer, badminton, Karo dance, bridal makeup, and band.
DRAWING I love drawing, I really love drawing, and that’s the only reason I enrolled myself in Institut Kesenian Jakarta (Jakarta’s Institute of Art) and took graphic design as my major.
