One sector that has seen considerable influence from this trend is fashion, from its colours, textures, fabrics and silhouettes. With more and more young people demanding more ethical and sustainable responsibly to be taken by brands Radicality transparent clothing brand Everlane are at the for front of this movement. Everlane use ethical factories which are all listed on their website, create classic pieces rather than follow fast fashion trends and show you a breakdown of production costs. Everlane could create a birthstone collection every month, comprised of a selection of 6 pieces from there pre-existing collections that will suit the consumer based on their star sign. Selection of the pieces are made in collaboration with an astrologer such as Dosse-Via Trenou who has studied the field for over 14 years and has gain numerous young followers on her astrology accounts such as Knowthezodiac. Pieces are sleeted based on the personality traits of that star sign and how they may be feeling that month. This will personalise consumers interaction with Everlane. To attract these conscious consumer Everlane could also incorporate more naturally dyed products into their collection which will lower the carbon foot print of the clothes. They could also introduce more vegan fibres into their collections such as hemp and linen.
