hello, i am
Tinie Lam >
I believe in less is more, zero-emission race cars and strategic design. As an integrated product designer, I am always questioning why. Curious and critical as I am, I want to know the answer and story behind every product, why it is designed and why it is designed this way. My mission is to create products that intrigue and answer questions. When I was a board member of racing team Forze, I asked myself a lot of why’s. Why is this solution so good, why does the other fail? Together with other experiences, these moments of reflection allowed me to have a better understanding of the raison d’être. As a dedicated, result-oriented, and well-organized teamplayer, I am now ready to make a difference. Besides, I am also a passionate musician that likes (too) many types of music and enjoys reading once in a while. But not too much, because I am a thinker and a doer.

As a marketing & public relations manager, my responsibility was to bring Forze to the public. One of the important jobs was to coordinate press related business, such as maintaining relations between journalists and to find opportunities to reach out. This also included the writing of press releases and giving interviews. One of the highlights was to talk about Forze on RTL7. Besides press activities, I also did visual work, varying from photoshoots to print work, to social media campaigns. Furthermore, I have been active on sustaining and building a better brand image for the team. Another major task was coorganising and coordinating the final race venue during an event for around 90.000 visitors, which involved my own design of the stand in particular.

Tailored for the Scottish rural life, and builts on the rare combination of robust and at the same time being flexible. The panorama greenhouse creates a wide-angle windscreen to overview the road and the surroundings. With a hybrid propulsion as its driving, the Chione has a combustion engine in the rear and battery pack underneath the seats. Using a similar platform and volume as the Suzuki Jimny, the Chione is compact but sufficient in its size. Whether you are driving on rough snowy terrain or in the middle of the big city, both will be no problem with the lightweight Chione.

timemachine> In a future world of autonomous vehicles, Ford envisions new possibilities of travelling. Inspired by ‘It is the journey, not the destination’, a vision was created. The Time:machine concept is based on the value ‘quality time’. Combined with the newest technology in transparent displays, the Time:machine is simple but effective, allowing you to travel through old photos, like opening a photobook at your grandma’s place.
