Mission objective : Propose an architecture that obeys contextual requirements and a design that meets the expectations of private customers. Context : Proposed redevelopment of an existing house and extension with a surface area of 170m2 (100m2 living space and 70m2 terrace) in the Oise region of Pouilly. The project is a wooden extension on stilts comprising a private bedroom with bathroom and shower room, as well as a living room with its own bar. Organisation : We had several meetings with customers to discuss their expectations, then made several design proposals. After various phases of design and discussion, we moved on to the sketches once they had been validated. Actions : 1: Preparation of the building permit and discussions with the architectes des bâtiments de France. 2: Discussions with various engineering offices and general contractors. 3: Files in the Preliminary Project Summary, Detailed Project Summary, tender documents and project execution phases. Atelier Victoria Migliore, 35 bis Rue Jean de la Fontaine, 75016 Paris

TIPAZA 08.2019

entropic heritage

The project is located in the Tipaza archaeological park, a UNESCO World Heritage site in the Tipaza commune, 60 km west of the Algerian capital. It is an interpretation center : the aim is to showcase and facilitate understanding by a broad public of a singular heritage that could not be brought together in a conventional museum, preferably using the visitor’s emotions and experience. The project consists of three distinct interventions, all designed to enhance the site. The main aim of these interventions is to revive this heritage without distorting it. The first is a main building to house Tipaza’s archaeological museum. Its location is the most interesting, as it offers a direct view of a large part of the remains present and is therefore a spot offering the best view of the park. The second intervention is a nautical platform, the only direct access to the water from the park, which is located on the edge of the cliff. And finally, the last intervention is an observation tower built on a small island just in front of the park, giving visitors a counter-view of the landscape and creating a panorama that didn’t exist before. It was also important to create an open space, a livable place that could be appropriated and where visitors could gather. These interventions are a gesture of staging, of theatricality, which constitutes the guiding idea of the project’s aesthetic language. The idea is to be aware of the environment and to take up the materiality already present on the site: stone, and to retranscribe it using the vocabulary of Greco-Roman architecture (arcades and amphitheatre). collective memory in a forgotten space

Designing on a site in transition requires a projection into the future. Let’s not forget that we’ve come to propose a different way of looking at the new town and its relationship with water. The presence of dykes on the site is noteworthy, initially due to the need to calm the waves flowing towards the Bouregreg river. For a long time, this valley was a fishing ground. But today, the presence of the dykes is part of the site’s heritage. We’ll note that the cemetery has always existed, the only difference being that it was linked to the El Alou cemetery, now on the other side of the causeway and tunnel. As a result, a square was created, along with leisure facilities and the Sidi Yabouri area, which in the end is largely man-made. The paths here describe the choice of routes on the project site. Always in search of a relationship with the ground inherent to the site, we chose a circulation crossing the site from north to south. From now on, the paths will link the three opposite poles of the Sidi Yabouri cemetery: the town, the sea (the dike) and the Oudayas kasbah. This means that the progress of the work is just as important as the final handover of the project. It is with this in mind that the stages of intervention will be envisaged from 2020 onwards. We are already planning the components that will make up the project. work in pairs : Alae EL OUAZZANI

PARIS 12.2018

psychological care center

To the west of Paris is a park that livens up the neighborhood. It’s a place where the cries of children running, loners escaping or retired people chatting in the afternoon mingle. The Square des Saint-Simoniens is this living space in the heart of Paris’ 20th a rrondissement. It’s in this setting that we’ve come to propose a building dedicated to both withdrawal and openness to others. The project is to invest this park with a psychological care center. The building is divided into three sequences : two wings dedicated to support and care services, linked by a central block serving as the main entrance. This central block would provide light and shelter for a planted area that would echo the existing park. The idea of bringing vegetation into the building is also reflected in the presence of a planted patio in the support center. The building’s geometry is materialized by the desire to introduce volumetric events through addition and subtraction. The result is a cantilevered space. The spaces dedicated to physical activity, such as the gym and the baths, benefit from the presence of a concrete coffered ceiling that emphasizes this aspect of the program. The façade, with its alternating grey brickwork, is a material match for the building’s raw concrete interior. The building is a play on raw concrete, glass and grey brick. Supervising teachers : Frank Rambert and Nicolas Karmochkine

PARIS 05.2015

landscape museum

This hybrid glass and steel museum project is located in the Parc de Bercy Charenton in Paris. My sensitive approach to the design of this museum is to appeal to the notion of genius loci. The building fits into its environment. The idea is to create a landscape architecture, which is a response to the site. The large size of the plot means that we can spread out over its entire surface. For this reason, the museum is designed entirely on a single level. The idea was also to be able to integrate the notion of a park into the very heart of the museum. And, in particular, to invite visitors to stroll around the museum grounds. In short, this transparent building is an architecture that aims to combine the notion of an urban greenhouse with that of a museum. The existing topography of the site was also taken into account: the land would be entirely flattened for reasons of access, symbolically taking up the old topography to form the shape of the roof. There is a formal differentiation of programs to propose a reading where the exhibition rooms would be rectangular and the rest of the programs would have an organic form. The shape of the museum invites the visitor in by «drawing him in» through a rounded entrance. Supervising teacher : Ouafia Djebar-Brookes

PARIS 02.2016

This furniture was designed in collaboration with a student from ENSA Belleville. It was built in the school’s wood workshop. The exercise was to imagine a piece of furniture in wood where the use of fasteners such as nails, screws or other mechanical systems would be forbidden. This constraint gave rise to sliding mechanisms in particular, allowing wooden p anels to slide along serrated rails. The design is inspired by the work of Charlotte Perriand. In fact, it’s a storage bookcase with irregularly-dimensioned shelves. Poplar wood furniture Collaboration with Maï-Elys Sem

PARIS 11.2015

The structure is made of 2mm wooden cardboard rings, into which arrows are cut. Each s urface has its own structure, hooking onto the rings. Nevertheless, each surface is interlocked with one, two or three others around it. The interlocking system represents a language, because when the arrows cross two surfaces (of the envelope), the arrows are doubled. In terms of aesthetic intentions, the aim was to have a volume and not just a skeleton, to have several qualities of light, several luminous intensities, to keep the surfaces smooth, to play on the superimpositions of layers while drawing inspiration from surfaces of revolution.
