Lo stile d’autore Un progetto iniziato nel 1974 e cresciuto costantemente nel corso degli anni. The company’s image is mostly distinguished by the manufacture of traditional classic furniture while at the same time portraying a modern business capable of accommodating the current furniture requirements, with a passion for and attention to the items of past times. In order to do so, TARBA CASACLASSICA has always relied on qualified and skilled designers, capable of developing new highly inspirational interpretations of classic lines. D i r e t t o r i o ”
Lo stile Direttorio prende campo verso l’ultimo decennio del Settecento, in concomitanza con la Rivoluzione Francese. Una rivoluzione anche nel campo del mobilio, che abbandona le sontuose curve dello stile Luigi XVI, proponendo forme più rigide e geometriche. Si impone un gusto semplice, fondato sulla rusticità dei legni e mobili costruiti con materiali poveri. Prendono campo articoli come scrittoi a ribalta e credenze, che prendono il posto del più austero cassettone. Balestro ha come forte riferimento la produzione francese, che privilegia la componente compositiva di ispirazione storicista, soprattutto quella legata al classicismo. Una produzione sobria ed elegante, che mette in evidenza le caratteristiche principali dello stile. Il mobile Balestro è costruito interamente in ciliegio. Lo stile Direttorio non è mai stato così contemporaneo. Con la nuova collezione Balestro in ciliegio rinasce lo charme di uno stile autentico nelle tendenze più attuali. Qualità di finitura, coda di rondine nei cassetti, fianchi impiallacciati e in multistrato di pioppo, dettagli importanti, linee pure: queste sono le caratteristiche di un mobile elegante, costruito da nobili mani artigiane.

“Directoire Style” The Directoire Style took off towards the last decade of the Sixteenth Century, at the time of the French Revolution. This revolution also concerned the furniture sector, where there was a departure from the sumptuous curves of the Louis XVI style and furniture became more angular and severe. It involved a simple taste founded on the rusticity of wood and furniture made with poor materials. Pieces such as secretaire desks and dressers were popular, replacing the more austere chest of drawers. Balestro is strongly influenced by French furniture production, which privileges the structural component of historicist inspiration, especially that connected to classicism. A sober and elegant production that emphasises the main features of this particular style. Balestro furniture is completely made of cherry-wood. The Directoire style has never been so contemporary. Thanks to the new Balestro cherry-wood collection, the charm of an authentic style is relaunched according to the most topical trends. Top quality finish, dovetail drawer joints, veneered and multi-ply poplar-wood side panels, important details and pure lines: these are the characteristic traits of an elegant piece of furniture, built by the fine hands of a craftsman.
