West Michigan Lighthouses Kaitlyn Jones
Michigan is famous for its lighthouses, many of which are still working. This book explores some of the lighthouses that are located on the west side of Michigan, as well as their surroundings. Viewers are able to observe these popular lighthouses during the wintertime as well as the spring and summer seasons throughout this book.
All year round tourists gather to watch the sunset over Lake Michigan up and down the west side of the state. In towns where there are lighthouses, toursist will even gather in freezing tempertures just to catch the beautiful sight. A popular activity during the summer is for people to walk out on the piers to the lighthouses with friends, family and dogs to catch the last bit of sun as the day comes to an end.
