Write 2-3 paragraphs that is a short bio on who you are. I am a student at Farmingdale State College in the Visual Communications program. I am beginning my application process to pursue a Masters degree in either Art History or Historic Preservation. I also enjoy to draw different characters in Illustrator. I like to take photographs of various people, animals, and the natural environment. I am a studious person in which I earn good grades in any class that I take. Prior to attending Farmingdale, I took AP classes in high school and those transfered to the college as 16 credits. I have always volunteered my time at various places. During my high school years, I voluntarily ran a food and clothing drive at my soccer league for 2 years as well as participated in it for many years prior to organizing it. I also did volunteer work at my public library through many library programs, such as running various stations for little kids of my community to attend, have fun and get prizes. Currently, I am involved in a club on campus called Ladies United in Vision (LUV) which is a leadership group that volunteers their time helping organizations on Long Island such as Hope for Youth and Coalition for the Homeless. I created the clubs logo, which is used on the t-shirts and posters and i will be redesigning the logo again in the future. I also tutor my younger sister and niece in their studies, especially in math. I had helped my younger sister pass 3 different regents tests that she had failed previously. I have also been called by my cousin who needed help with his math homework. I also have some friends who have needed my help in proofreading their papers or help learning how to preform different tasks in Adobe programs. On more than one occasion, I have been asked by my family to find things online and order it for them since I am great at navigating the web to find the best possible price for different items. 4. Elevator pitch to describe you. I am a very eclectic person; I am a graphic designer, photographer, personal shopper and tutor.
