THE KALAS PASSION KALAS Sportswear Company was founded out of a deep passion for cycling. Our company founder, a longtime professional cyclist and domestic cycling legend Čestmír Kalaš started manufacturing cyclewear in 1990 in an effort to raise funds to support his main interest - cyclo-cross sport in Tabor; Czech Republic. Over the last two decades this original idea from a stubborn cycling enthusiast has grown into a leading European manufacturer of cycling and sports apparel. Sportswear with the Kalas logo are currently worn by world and olympic champions, members of many national teams and thousands of amateur and recreational cyclists in more than 20 countries.

Although KALAS Sportswear now employs nearly 200 people, we are still a family run business and we personally guarantee we will always work to achieving the best quality for our products. The Kalas cyclewear and sportswear collections are hand made in Europe from top quality materials using experiences seamstresses the latest printing technology. We develop and test our clothing together with professional athletes and renowned universities to ensure that it meets the highest demands for functionality and comfort. MATERIALS

OR WHAT WE MAKE OUR JERSEYS FROM Cycling jerseys have to satisfy diverse and often conflicting needs. They have to adapt perfectly to the body, but mustnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t be too tight. They must be breathable and be able to remove sweat, but they also have to protect against the weather. They have to look good, but at the same time resist wearing out and be easy to take care of. We take all of this into consideration when developing and manufacturing our cycling jerseys.

KALAS Sportswear is therefore made entirely from highly functional materials imported from Italy and Switzerland. We use the latest printing technologies to ensure that fabrics preserve their unique functional features fully after printing. We take great care to ensure our jerseys are perfectly tailored - all production takes place in the Czech Republic directly at our company.
