DESIGN SELECTIONS

This is a collection of design projects that were completed from 2019 to 2023 for Blackberry Farm Design.

EAGLE’S ENVY

Perched on a premium Blackberry Mountain lot, this modern masterpiece is a sculptural take on Blackberry Farm’s signature layered, comfortable interiors. Every detail was meticulously designed from the custom topographical sink to the bistro-inspired banquette in the game room. Warm natural materials perfectly balance with the variety of fine textiles and statement light fixtures.

MOUNTAIN LODGE

This Smoky Mountain residence was built to entertain a large extended family. Its seven bedrooms, bunk room, and nine baths allow the owners to comfortably host 18 guests at a time. The interior showcases a luxurious blend of new and antique furnishings that are layered with earthy colors, textures, and patterns.

This restaurant is part of the High Hampton, a luxury hotel, dining, and golf destination in North Carolina. The saturated, mood-lit space has an eclectic blend of traditional furniture, bold modern art, and collected decor. The 100 year old structure presented a variety of unique technical challenges.

SAFETY CULTURE

Software company Safety Culture is driven by their mission to help companies achieve safer, higher quality workplaces all around the world through innovative, low-cost mobile-first products.

As an innovative tech company with a casual, fun culture, they needed a work space that would reflect that. When designing for the space, we used vibrant greens and blues to help bring a fresher, more high-tech feel to the historic Crossroads building. Fun elements like a ping-pong table were also delivered to help foster an open, collaborative environment. (Description per Working Spaces)

CUSTOM BUILDS

I specialized in designing unique furniture and millwork for Blackberry Farm’s clients. My creations included wine cellars, coffee tables, end tables, beds, nightstands, bar carts, bar cabinets, bookshelves, desks, and kitchenettes. These projects required close collaboration with local fabricators.
