 Why did I embark in to Research Driven Community Engagement? It starts with a research idea – So what???  What did I do? Think simple or Think big?


 How did I do it? Common sense? Gap in knowledge? Gap in clinical practice?


  Visual impairment is a serious problem among children - Amblyopia   Untreated amblyopia the school children will not be able to perform well in school due to blur vision   Early detection is recommended through vision screening at preschool level   Professional – vision screening too costly
