LACK of SUPPORT to and INVESTMENTS in youth development ARE SHORT-SIGHTED
Young people are key actors in building-up and sustaining strong Societies and thus equal partners of adults.
Youth is not a homogenous group - intra-group dynamics, gender, age, and diversity are key factors to access resources and equal opportunities.
Why we value Youth, How? Youth in humanitarian action because it does not inherently benefit only young people, but also the communities they reside in. www.ifrc.org Saving lives, changing minds.

It is estimated that 87% of the world’s adolescents live in countries affected by poverty, hunger, disease and violence
Not only do young people have a right and a need to tackle climate change, they also have much to contribute.
