“Fastest Game on tWo Feet” LACROSSE is Canada’s oldest sport. The history of Lacrosse may have began among North American Indigenous tribes as early as 1100 AD as an athletic contest of great skill, pride and spiritual significance. Lacrosse has been one of Canada’s National Sports since 1859. As a game, it is unparalleled in developing skill, speed, fitness, endurance and dexterity. Lacrosse is ranked as one of the fastest growing sports in North America by the NCAA. Why Play lacrosse? • Experience the excitement of Canada’s National Summer Sport • Size doesn’t matter • Helps to be more dynamic in other sports • Prevent year round hockey burn out • It combines many sporting skills • Meet new friends • Fun for all ages and abilities!
“I couldn’t wait for hockey season to end so I could pick up a lacrosse stick again.” – Wayne Gretzky
Kamloops Minor Lacrosse regularly has representation on Team BC and the BC Summer Games both on the player and coaching staff rosters.
“It’s lacrosse that helped teach me to spin off checks, take shots and protect the puck under pressure. My stick skills, the way to read the play quickly comes from lacrosse. The hand-eye coordination, is just one of the little things that helps you in hockey.” – John Tavares, two-time World Junior Hockey Champion
Kamloops Minor Lacrosse Association offers both Box & Field Lacrosse programs for boys & girls aged 5 – 18 Mini Tyke and Tyke Lacrosse is a great introduction to Canada’s National Summer Sport Box Lacrosse season runs March – June for boys and girls in: • Mini Tyke (5-6 year old) • Tyke (7-8 year old) • Novice (9-10 year old) March – July for Peewee to Midget (11-16 years old boys & girls)

Aquatics ABOVE & BEYOND LESSONS Adapted Swim Lessons
Welcome to Swimming Lessons with your infant or toddler! As a parent or caregiver, you have an important role to play during lessons and anytime your child is in or near the water. You create a safe environment and set the example for your child on how to be safe in, on, and around the water.
Join in the fun, and splash into our supported swim lessons for kids with developmental or physical disabilities. Beginner and intermediate levels are available, and caregivers are required to be in the water to ensure a fun and safe environment. THE ULTIMATE REAL LIFE ESCAPE ROOM EXPERIENCE:
HOLIDAY HEIST 2/5 stars
Christmas time is here, and you know you have not been very good this year. You’ve been on Santa’s “Naughty List” for a while now, but this Christmas you have a plan to fix that. Tired of getting lumps of coal year after year, you come up with a plan to infiltrate Santa’s workshop and write your name in his good books. Ensuring that your dream of sugarplums and candy canes become a reality this year. You’re making a plan, you’re checking it twice. You’re gonna change your name from naughty to nice. Santa Claus is not going to know. He sees you when you’re sleeping. He knows when you’re awake. But this time Santa is asleep, and that’s his first mistake!
MIRROR MIRROR 4/5 stars
A cult has captured your friends, trapped them in the mirror realm and plan on sacrificing them to summon a demon! You’ve tracked them down to a quaint little antique shop that you probably never would have gone into otherwise – a perfect hideout. You decide to take your chances and sneak in there at night in order to save them.
PANDEMIC 5/5 stars
The players are agents and the world’s last hope against a viral threat that turns the infected into cannibalistic zombies. This epidemic was released by an unknown terrorist group and the top scientists still cannot come up with a cure. Thousands are dying by the day as the affected area spread. You’ve traced the source to a lab in the Switzerland. This was the only lab in the area where the terrorist group’s broadcast came from and the security is unusually tight for a biotechnology laboratory. Your team breaks in at night in hopes you’ll find a cure for this apocalyptic event.
ASYLUM 5/5 stars, rated R, 18+
In a dystopian future the government has fallen and all crime is legal. You’ve been on the run for months, every time you think you’re safe you hear the sounds of chainsaws and revving engines. Your friends and you come across an abandoned building, you feel uneasy about going inside but the sound of your pursuers is getting louder and you don’t have much choice. “What could be worse than the people we’re running from?” As you slip through the door you look behind you and you have a feeling of dread. Will you ever see the sun again? As your group looks around the room, you realize you haven’t just come across an abandoned building, you’ve come across an abandoned asylum…and you wonder why time seems to be standing still.

The best way to warm up your vehicle is to
drive it, don’t idle it! Vehicle manufacturers recommend idling for no longer than 30 seconds to warm up because: • vehicles reach optimum operating
temperatures faster by driving, not idling
• excessive idling can affect the life of engine oil • non-engine moving parts (e.g. transmission) warm up by driving moderately, not idling Be sure your windows are clear before driving away.
