CHANGE FOR 2020: herstorically, the Power of Being a Girl Conference has been created for girls aged 12-14. Taking into consideration the significant change in culture in earlier development of girls, earlier intervention and prevention has become more important. In 2020, PBG Planning and Conference will be open to girls aged 11-13 and in 2021, the ages will shift to 10-12. This sliding age scale is to ensure that girls who were looking forward to coming and thought they were are still in the age range, will not miss out in the Planning of PBG or in the Conference.
