1 - BATS OUT OF THE DARKNESS

OCT Many of us are in the dark about bats and 31 their survival depends on our enlightenment. This four-wall exhibition including videos, specimens, and scientific equipment used to find and study bats, brings the bats of British Columbia ‘out of the darkness and into our consciousness.’ The exhibition will serve as a reminder of how essential bats are to the environment and provide a chance to celebrate these amazing creatures.

1 CANADA DAY VIRTUAL BEACH RUN

Celebrate Canada Day by pushing your limits with a virtual race. Peachland Recreation has teamed up with the Epic Canadian to offer a fun opportunity to challenge yourself and support great Canadian charities. Connect across communities, across the province, and across the entire country for Canada’s 154th birthday - even if we can’t all be in the same space at one time!

AND POP-UP CONCERTS

Celebrate Canada’s Birthday from your driveway. The town’s mobile concert crew will tour Peachland neighbourhoods and perform mini-concerts to help you rock out and celebrate Canada Day in style.

8 All ladies rodeo and roping event, with Top Cowgirl Challenge and Top Ranch Horse Challenge competitions, Breakaway Roping, Team Roping, Barrel Racing and Ranch Horse events.

29 KOKANEE SALMON FESTIVAL

Celebrate the return of the Kokanee salmon! Enjoy watching fish in their spawning colours and find the answers to all your fishy questions.

Enjoy a run or stroll with the whole family under the spell of the night. Starting in Heritage Park, run 3K or 5K along Beach Avenue.

25 END OF SUMMER GALA

The Peachland Wellness Centre’s annual musical extravaganza will include a five-course elegant sit-down dinner with entertainment featuring Kinda Kenny, the number one international Kenny Rogers tribute artist. If the date should have to change due to COVID–19 restrictions, it will then take place on March 26, 2022. Tickets will go on sale July 1 and are good for either date.
