Tree varieties range from shrubs & small trees to large trees & conifers. Trees are bare root stock, approximately 18-24” tall. Trees must be paid in full at time of order. Trees will be ready for pickup in early May – postcards will be mailed out with pickup information in mid-April. DEAN W. HILJUS Dean William Hiljus of Mora died on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. He was 77 years old. He was born Aug. 16, 1935 in Grandy to Roy and Fern (Peterson) Hiljus. He was raised in the Isanti area. He worked at Joslyn Pole Yards and then at Bell Pole Yards for over 40 years between them. He made his home in Mora for the last 20 years. He loved the outdoors and especially fishing and hunting. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley; sister, Mary Ann; brothers, Duane, Donald and Richard. He is survived by sons, Kevin (Sandra) Hiljus of Cambridge, Dan (Linda) Hiljus of Pensacola, Fla. and Craig (Elise) Hiljus of Lindstrom; sister, Yvonne Lambrecht of Sartell; brothers, Ray (Bonnie) Hiljus of Laughlin, Nev., Roger (Mary Joan) Hiljus of Cambridge and Gerald Hiljus of Minneapolis; many grandchildren; stepchildren, Marie (Les) Stokes of Circle Pines, Brenda (Scott) Kaliszewski of Princeton, Debra Stringfellow of Anoka and Daniel (Rowena) Schaaf of Milaca and their families; and by many other relatives and friends. A memorial service was held Sunday, March 24 at Strike Funeral Home – Isanti Chapel with Rev. Howard Skulstad officiating.
