Simple solutions to save on your wedding Couples in the midst of planning a wedding often find themselves overwhelmed by the cost of such a meaningful yet expensive undertaking. The average wedding is as expensive as a new car or a down payment on a new house, so it’s no surprise many couples experience sticker shock when they first begin to negotiate with vendors. But as shocking as the cost of saying “I do” in front of family and friends can be, there are some tried-and-true ways to drastically reduce that cost without making the big day any less special. ELDON J. KROTZ Eldon James Krotz of the Coin area died on Friday, March 27, 2015 at the FirstLight Health System in Mora. He was 80 years old. On Aug. 23, 1934 he was born, the sseventh and youngest child of Charles aand Effie (Broehl) Krotz in Bismarck, N.D. N At the age of 6, he moved with h his family to Minnesota and attended ggrade school at Coin and then Mora H High School, where he graduated as tthe Salutatorian, without ever taking a bbook home as there was too much work tto do on the farm after school. He lived all his life on the same farm aat Coin, leaving only in 1958, when h he served in the Army. Together with h his brother Kenneth, they raised dairy ccattle for many years and then beef ccattle before they put the whole farm iinto alfalfa a few years ago. They built from nothing into a good working farm. Kenneth lovingly took care of Eldon at home until his last two weeks when his health began to decline and Kenneth put him in the hospital and at St. Clare’s Living Community in Mora where he got excellent care. He was preceded in death by parents, Charles (1950) and Effie (1999); brothers, Roland (1991), Walter (1996), Harvey (2000) and sister, Doris (1996). He is survived by brother, Kenneth; sister, Mary Mans; 13 nieces and nephews; 21 great-nieces and nephews; 14 great-great-nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at the Rock-Ingebrand Chapel in Braham. Burial was in the Oakwood Cemetery in Mora. Arrangements by the Rock-Ingebrand Funeral Home. How To Package And Transport

Protect yourself. Wear protective clothing, gloves, and goggles. Do not smoke. Do not wear contact lenses if handling solvents. Do not expose yourself to toxic chemicals if pregnant. Work in a well-ventilated area. Avoid breathing fumes. Keep children and pets away.
Bring Materials in original containers. If original container is not available, clearly mark on your container its present contents. Do not mix different or unknown wastes in the same container!
Pack Carefully. Place containers in a cardboard box lined with plastic. Pack them in an upright position with newspaper separating each container. Tighten all lids before transporting. If container is leaking, pack in a larger leak-free container; soak up leakage with kitty litter.
Transport. Place boxes in car trunk. If you must transport inside the car, keep the car ventilated, and place combustibles out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources.

Kanabec County HHW Day is being held in conjunction with Kanabec County Clean-up Day. ALL HHW materials need to be registered. The day of the event all registered HHW participants will be directed to the HHW drop off before any clean-up/recycle materials are dropped off, please have HHW materials accessible for easy and fast drop off.
