I would be more referring to myself as an information architect than an artist or a designer – a person who builds impression and feeling by plan to trigger people’s senses or memories. Even a logo delivers complex feelings when it applies to different media. Name card for example, simply as a piece paper could involve senses like: visual, touch and smell so to experience the design as a whole. I try to deliver feelings through my works mostly because resonance is how design interacts with people. ““Art is to raise question and design is to find solution” - John Meada Raising questions makes me notice issues what others do not see and I am happy to know the value of my opinion is important to them. I always hear people say creative people are gifted. They are weird but see and think of the world differently. I enjoy such gift and I will use this gift to build feelings for those who look for it.

commercial wayfinding usually consider design by areas which breaks the experience between exterior and interior. this project considered the linkage of pedestrian’s travel experience as a whole by creating the sense of site identity from the moment of entering the area. the design was created from the inside out unlike typical way of thinking by

the signage design was inspired by the unique form of the three towers: office, hotel & residential. that slightly curve towards the base connected to the site itself and created a sense of identity. due to brand requirement that the logo has to use navy blue as background; part of the logo’s negative space was used as highlight for both visual identity & sign function

residential signage has one thing in common, they are all plain and functional, which enable to blend in with the architectural features of their surroundings. from that, cut-out lettering is always the best choice. although limited suitable fonts could be used when readability is a must on the priority list. yet it’s color, design and materials could ever be changing.

square mile features a modern streamlined design, passages connecting different phases, landscaped walkways and an open-air piazza for cultural and leisure activities. This new hotspot will revitalise the streets and become an ideal living hub offering business vitality and residential relaxation.

the complexity of chinese characters limited designers to manually adjust each words in tight deadlines. yet in this residential project, requested by client that the design intention should have each signage item looks different and deliver a young and classy feelings overall. for that we decided to focus on numbers, selected Dense font for a New York 5th Avenue looking typeface and adjust, then add a youthful lime green to bring out a sense or energetic feeling.
