Classroom table For two students

The metal tube at the end of table top prevents stationary from falling off to the other side. The metal frame is stackable and hence saves space while transporting and storing.

Double bench The backrest is given an angle for comfort. The seat extends at the back and becomes storage for bags which saves floorspace and avoids clutter on the floor. The metal tube at the end is added to prevent the bags from falling off to the other side.

Podium The podium is inspired from the Gothic culture and architecture. The podium is an icon of power and superiority. It is designed for a church.

Modh Modh (fold in hindi) is made using pure origami. It is completely made of paper. It can be flat packed which makes it easy to transport. It can be converted back to a stool within seconds.

Reflect Reflect is a floor lamp. It uses mirrors and aluminium as reflective surfaces, concealing the light source. It provides ambient lighting to the surroundings.

Corner table The corner table is inspired from the logo of the National Institute of Design, it uses basic shapes such as quadrant, square and a triangle. It is a knock down furniture.

Rok ROK eases the experience of your favourite drink that are either too hot or too cold. It can accomodate tumblers of varying diameter. It is entirely made of bamboo and is eco-friendly.

Carpet design The carpet takes its inspiration from the water cycle. It illustrates the transforming nature of water by echoing its energy, fluidity and movement into the design.

Bare minimum A bare minimum space that can accomodate a person without any hinderances. The space incorporates all the basic amenities like bathroom, kitchen, storage. DetailsMattress folds up and the bed gets converted to a table.

Residential design Aging in place The cottage style house is located in Savannah. BRIEF: The house has to be redesigned for a retired couple. It should be wheelchair accessible and safe for children. Interiors should be transitional. Enough storage should be provided. Few existing furniture and rugs should be used.

The colours maintain a smooth transition and subdued vertical patterns expand the space visually. Upholesterd and round egded furniture is chosen for children’s safety.

Dining area The patterns used in the interiors blend with the outside nature. Extending dining table is used. Seating added with the window. It creates a visual harmony while one goes from the living room to the kitchen.

Master bedroom The architectural details help in creating a traditional feel while the furniture adds to the transitional look of the house. Enough clearances are given for a wheelchair to easily move without obstruction.

Puppet show A puppet show was designed and executed based on the animated series “ Sofia the first�.

Exhibition Design Exhibitions were put up in different parts of Pune for the International Dance festival, 2014. Photographs, sculptures and paintings were combined with dance to provide a new perspective.
