This is an amazing time to be a part of Chiefs Kingdom! As we reflect on the past year and celebrate our back-to-back Super Bowl Championships, we are honored to share with you all the ways the Chiefs have given back to the Kansas City community.
In this report, you will see:
CHIEFS KINGDOM IS GROWING.
After the team played its inaugural regular season game in Germany, the Chiefs footprint continues to expand globally. We’ve enhanced our international efforts, hosted dozens of events in Germany and Mexico, and visited military bases around the world. At home, participation in co-ed flag football has doubled in the past year, and our fanbase continues to be among the largest and most passionate in all of sports.
OUR IMPACT ON KANSAS CITY IS UNPRECEDENTED.
Red Friday is in its 10th year supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City, the Chiefs Charity Game celebrated 40 years with its contribution to MOCSA, and the 50/50 raffle raised nearly $1 million for various charities in and around Kansas City. This year we also continued the Hunt Family Foundation Spring Grant Cycle benefiting 14 local charities, and we are proud to sponsor the largest food drive in the NFL.
SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY IS CENTRAL TO OUR MISSION.
When my father brought the Chiefs to Kansas City in 1963, he made it a priority to give back to the community. For decades, our players and coaches have lived up to our mission to Unite Our Community and Inspire Our Fans. Over the years, our efforts have expanded with the help of the Chiefs Women’s Organization, KC Ambassadors, and Red Coaters, and I am proud that our success on the field has allowed us to have an even greater impact off the field.
Thank you for all the ways you have supported these efforts, and all the ways you have cheered on the Chiefs. When we look back on this era of Chiefs football, I will be most proud of the positive impact we have had on this remarkable community.
